CHAPTER 3
TIA'S POV
My alarm goes off, making me aware that I have exactly thirty minutes to get ready.
I take a shower, do my hair and makeup, and finally get dress.
I make it into the living room, Katie and Jade are sitting on the sofa talking about the different types of cats they have in the world.
"I am hungry." Jade says
"We are going to stop and get McDonald's you can wait." I say looking at my hair once more in the mirror
"You can wait." she mimics
I roll my eyes, and sit on the sofa.
As soon as I sit, both Jade and Katie say they are ready, so I am right back up.
Jade jumps in the front seat.
"Move!" Katie yells from the outside
"No!" Jade yells back
"You are annoying" she yells getting in the back
I pull out, and drive to Cam's house, he texted me his directions.
We get to his house, and he takes ten minutes to come out.
I don't question how long he took, I just drove off to McDonald's.
"Welcome to McDonalds, would you like to try our egg McMuffin?" the lady from the box says
"No, we are fine-" I say Jade cuts me off
"That's what I want." Jade says
"Never mind, I would like one-" Jade cuts me off yet again
"No, I want two." Jade says
"I am sorry I would like two egg McMuffins" I say
"Is that all?" the lady says
"No, um I would like a number ten, Katie and Cam what do you want?" I ask
"I want a number three, and tell them to put ketchup in the bag." Katie says
"I would like a number six, with a tea." Cam says
"Okay, I need a number three, with ketchup, and a number six with a tea, and that will be all." I say
"That will be $10.98 at the next window please." The lady says
I get to the next window and hand the lady the money.
The next stop we get the food, which took about three minutes to come out.
I pass the bag to Katie. She checks the bag, and establishes the food to everyone.
"Yeah, we are going to be late to school." I say taking a bite of my food
"Oh well" Jade says
I park in the McDonald's parking lot so we can stop and eat.
We took about twenty minutes to eat and throw all our trash away.
I begin driving back to school, and try to make it to at least second period.
We already missed first period, and second period flies by.
By the time third period comes Jade and I are both present in the gym.
We take a seat in the gym, and coach begins talking.
"Okay, we are going to be running today. We are going to time you so at the end of the year, we will see if you can beat your time." Coach says
"I am in no shape to run." Jade complains
