Chapter 26

Tia's Pov

After a week of observations and one to many check ups the hospital finally thought it was a good time to release me. I sighed of relief when I signed my last paper. It was only Friday so I still had the weekend, I have actually decided to go back to school. I've been out for a while, but the school said they understood everything, though after graduation I have to stay every Thursday from 8-11 to make up time I missed in the summer. I walked outside with the only clothes I had which were the ones I came in, so I didn't have any bag of any sort. I stood waiting for my ride, I am not excatly sure who is picking me up, either Zayn or Katie. When I see my car pull up right where I was standing I knew it was Zayn. He got out the car and pulled me into a tight hug, I haven't seen him since the day he surprised visited me.

"Hey best friend" I say playfully punching his arm with a smirk

He glared at me, then a small smile crept on his face.

"Friend Zoning me I see." he smiles opening my door for me.

"Think of it as a best friend falling in love with another best friend." I say pulling the seatbelt over me

"Well isn't it pointless? We both know we love each other more than friends." He says pulling off

"Yeah, I also know I am not stable for a relationship right now. And I think I still have to break up with Jack, I haven't fully discussed things with him. Gosh I feel likes it's been forever since I have talked to him." I say pushing a strand of hair behind my ear

"That's because he doesn't care about as much as he says he does. See when I say I care I mean it obviously." He giggles

I just stare into space and think about what he just said.

"Tia?" Zayn asks and I shake back into reality

"Sorry, in all honesty I have been so distant from everyone lately, I mean the last time I talked to my father was for his party. I haven't talked to Jade either or Cam, I feel so bad." I pout "I talked to Katie the last time you two came but that's it, I mean I am not close with Harry, but still it's been a while."

"Tia don't worry about catching up with everyone right now, it will only add more stress." Zayn says reaching out for my hand, but I pull away. As hard as it is, I have to do the doctors strongly recommneded me to not be any in relationship for a couple of weeks, sadly my temptations are daily.

"A high five at least?" Zayn smiles

I laugh in his face, but give him a high five because he made the cutest face asking.

When we arrive home I take a deep breath as I stand out of the car, the wind is blowing my hair into my face, but I ignore it as I walk up the stairs and Zayn follows behind me.

I open the door both Jade and Katie are sitting on the sofa scrolling through their phones. Their heads cock up as soon as they hear us.

"Tia! I missed you" Jade yells nearly tackling me

"I missed you too." I say being nearly smothered by her hair

"If you ever need to talk to someone I am always here for you, you know this." she smiles

"I know, but you were having issues with Cam, and I didn't want to add more stress to your problem." I say sitting on the sofa, as does everyone else

"Tia, clearly your problems were more important than some silly little break up. I would have put my problems aside for you, but I am happy you are okay now." She smiles from the opposite sofa
