Chapter 7

Tia's Pov

The next morning is a blur.

I feel an arm wrapped around me, and a light snoring coming from the left side of the bed.

I didn't drink last night, but I feel as if I have the biggest hang over ever.

I slowly turn to find myself in Zayn's bed.

Tia you've done it again.

You can never say no.

Or is that even the issue?

I have the worst headache I can't even think straight.

What happened last night?

I move Zayn's arm from me, and crawl from his bed.

I stretch as soon as I stand, and begin walking to the restroom.

I check my appearance in the mirror.

My hair is sticking up from both sides, it looks like a bee's nest.

I run my fingers through it, and use the restroom, realizing I have no other tampon to use.

Shit

I reach to the drawer on the left of me and begin to search for anything I could find.

They have girls in this house, there has to be something.

As I rummage through, I find some, but they are the jumbo kind.

Ouch

It's going to have to do.

Once I am out the restroom, I walk into the living room to see if there is anyone I know still here.

No one is in here.

I look at the clock on the stove, it's only 9:30, maybe that's why no one is up.

I go back into Zayn's room.

I grab my phone and see I have five missed calls from Jack.

What does he want?

I call him back.

"Hello" I whisper

"Tia?" I hear from the other end, he sounds like he is crying.

"What's wrong?" I ask

"I need you to come over." he cries

"Jack please tell me what's wrong. You are making me nervous." I say fumbling everything trying to find my keys.

"It's my brother." he cries

"Oh no Jack, please don't tell me." I begin taking deeper breaths

"We don't know right now, he is in the hospital right now. Please Tia, I am begging you to come, I need you." I hear his cries getting heavier.

"I am coming, give me a second." I say trying to calm myself down so I don't make Jack even more nervous.

I finally find my keys under Zayn's bed.

I try walking out as quietly as possible, and as soon as I get outside I begin running.

I get into my car, and begin driving to Jack's house.

Jack's little brother, James, is 15. He has leukemia, he has been having it since I have known him, but they said it started when James turned 9.

I arrive at Jack's house and I knock on his door, and he immediately answers it.
