New Game Plan

I ended up falling asleep in Dave's car that night. If it wasn't for my phone going off then I would have stayed asleep all night long. Dave squirmed abit before going back to sleep with his head on my lap. I placed my hand on his head and played with a lock of his blonde hair. He looked peaceful like this and almost completely serene. My phone went off once more;I panicked for a second until a picked up the phone. I cupped the hand that was already on Dave's head to his ear before speaking.

"Hello?"

"Where are you? Kanaya and I waited for you back at your house."

The voice was mature and was obvious to tell. It was Rose Lalonde, the sister of Dave. I was never completely sure on how they were related,but they were. She recently has been dating Kanaya Mayam. Those two made the cutest lesbian couple I have ever seen. They complemented each other like a Rose and it's thorns. Without the thorns, the rose is naked and defenseless. It's kind of ironic how that comparison was about a rose and the girl is named Rose. Anyway, Rose and Kanaya are adorable together, period. I was supposed to go home and watch a movie with them and possibly Dave staying for awhile then bailing half-way ,but everything else happened.

"I'm kind of in Dave's car."

"Why are you there? Is Dave there too?"

"Well, stuff happened. Only thing I can say really is that Dave is here with me. he is kind of asleep, while on my lap."

"Oh! Well, I don't want to intrude on you both. Use protection!"

She hung up and it took me a minute to register what she ment. Is she implying that Dave and I are..? Oh Jegus! I mean sure Dave is attractive and all ,but I wouldn't think of me and Dave having well.. that! At least, not right now. I can't really imagine me and him even kissing or anything. I pecked him on the cheek once, but that was awhile back.

Dave stirred abit again and he stretched out his arms. One arm was behind his head and the other fell over his chest. He is such an idiot sometimes ,but he really is amazing overall. Wait, I am not falling for him,am I? I know I still like Sollux. I know it! I mean, I still get hurt every time I see him with Feferi being all happy and giggly like any normal couple would. Who wouldn't be when you see your crush like that? Them off with someone who isn't you,having a great time. Well, I need to get over Sollux. Yeah, I will get over him! Maybe Dave is perfect enough to help. He's always been there for me and he hates Sollux enough to help me. That's the plan then, Dave and I are gonna change my love interest!
