Using Your Best Friend as Your Lover

First 'Fake' Date

I decided to drop the subject and just go to class with Dave. I held his hand and stayed close to him. He seemed to be cheering up, even if it was only a little. We stopped in front of the snack machine outside our class building and bought 1 Pepsi and 2 bags of Cheetos. "Cheetos are boss. I fed them back to you when I tried to get you to rap, lil' man." Dirk would always tell Dave when I brought Cheetos over for movie night.

I was trying to pull Dave to our 1st class Biology ,but he pulled me over to the gym. There he pulled us down to a room at the end of the hall. I giggle'd abit and all he did was smile and go "shhh". I sat down against the wall while Dave locked the door. He sat beside me and pulled out his phone. It was bright in the small room with his phone. He put the phone between us with his background as some candle. I laughed abit.

"Is my idea of a romantic fake-date funny to you?"

"Just abit. I mean, a candle on the background of your phone."

"Well, I could always change it to John going 'Oh gurlfran. You funni.' If you don't like it, that is?"

He moved abit closer to me. I smiled then pushed his phone away. He looked at me confused for a moment before I laid my head down on his lap. I looked up to him and mouthed 'you owe me for the first fight night'. He smirked then just put his hand on my hair. He stroked my head every now and then while talking to me. We barely touched the Pepsi ,but the Cheetos were gone within the minute. He sometimes even got some crumbs on me. We laughed and stayed in the closet talking for about 2 class periods. Only 1 more until it was lunch for us. One of the perks about getting first lunch here. fresh food and it's sooner than everyone else's.

"Hey,Crystal. Do we have to leave this closet? It's nice just being here. Hell, I'd rather be here listening to you than John ranting about Nic Cage and his 'Golden Face' to Vris-bitch." I couldn't help ,but almost choke on my Pepsi sip.

"Why not? I like being around you more than anyone else. I mean, it's not like I like you or anything!"

"Don't try to act cute like that. It does you nothing. Once a dork, forever a dork."

"Oh then there is no cure for you either,Dave!"

We laughed for abit until I felt abit uncomfortable. I tried to sit up for a second and Dave put his arms around me just to pull me next to him. If it almost like he was cuddling me. I smiled and snuggled up closer to him for awhile. I just might like 'dating' Dave. I feel like I don't need to change for him. It's just... perfect. ♥
