Shannon's POV
"Uh- I'm Diego" He let out a little laugh.
I turned my music down to hear him more clearly.
"Hi." I said very shortly, obviously not wanting to engage in conversation.
I looked back down at my phone and hoped he would do the same.
"So," he started saying. fuck, why couldn't he just stop talking. "what's your name?" He asked.
"I'm Shannon" I said quickly, looking down back at my phone, turning away from him.
"Oh, cool." He shrugged.
I ignored his remark and just continued to read my texts. But I couldn't concentrate. I kept thinking; who the hell is this guy.
Soon enough the bus came. I sat up and grabbed my bag, making my way over to the steps. I climbed on and started walking to the back of the bus.
Diego's POV
"I'm Shannon." She said very short toned. She just turned around and looked back down at her phone. Damn, she's a bitch.
I just shrugged her response off and mumbled "Oh, cool." Obviously annoyed with her impatience.
I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and read the notifications that were on my lock screen

I didn't even bother opening any of them and just continued to stare down at the gravel. I didn't want to have to start over, at a new place, a new school, everything. It was senior year and I had to leave everyone I knew back at home. I mean, it was my choice though. I knew it was what my music carrier needed.
As I was thinking about everyone back home, I snapped back to reality as I heard the bus approaching the stop. I watched as Shannon started to make her way onto the bus. As she climbed up the stairs her ass stuck out far. I couldn't help but bite my bottom lip as I watched her shift her weight onto each leg.
I quickly looked away as the bus driver snapped me out of my stare.
"Hello son." She said sweetly
"Hi." I said as I watched Shannon disappear behinds the crowds of tall teenagers whispering and glancing over at me.
A few of the girls smiled and winked at me, and a few looked at me in disgust.
"Are you new?" The bus driver asked as her eyes darted to all my tattoos.
"Uh, yeah." I said as I directed my attention back onto her.
"Well, Welcome to Crystal Lake kid," she said as she stood up and looked around the bus. "I'm sure you will find a seat somewhere." She sat back down and put the bus back into drive.
I slowly made my way down the aisle of the bus, searching for an empty seat. I made it all the way to the end of the bus and the only semi-empty seat I found was holding Shannon in it. Of course.
"Can I sit he-" I began but before Shannon could even look up someone shouted at me from the front of the bus
"You can sit with me!" I heard a girl yell. A few people giggled and I turned around following the voice. I made my way to the source of the noise.
"Right here." A girl patted the empty area next to her, indicating me to take a seat next to her as I approached her.
I took one last glance down the aisle-way and sat myself down next to her. She gave me a huge smile.
I have to admit, she was really hot. She had tight curly brown hair, big lips, light brown eyes, and a extremely nice body.
"Hey." I said as I put my phone in my hoodie pocket.
"Hey," she said as she pulled her hair back with her long, white, acrylic nails. "So. You're new?" She asked as she licked her lips, eyeing my tattoos.
"Yeah, moved here about a week ago." I said while giving her a small smile.
"Well, I'm Valarie, and if you need anything, you should definitely ask me. I know just about everything about everyone." She whispered with a little wink.
"Oh really now?" I flirted back.
"100 percent" She said in a seductive tone as she leaned closer to me.
I felt her minty breath hot against my lips. She gave a smirk and then leaned away slowly.
"So tell me about those tattoos." She instructed and she traced the tattoos across my face and down my neck, sending shivers down my spine.
