Ch9- Good Morning

I woke up in my temperary room, in Cassidy's house. I looked at my phone, surprised that it had 83% of battery left, it was 10:45am. Did I miss breakfast? I sat up and stretched with my eyes closed, why can't I just stay in here? Suddenly I smelled it, PANCAKES? My eyes popped right open, and there they were, sitting on my nightstand. 

  A big stack of pancakes, with syrup already pourded on top. Beside the breakfast was a single posey pink rose, with a note attached to it. I picked up the rose, and sniffed it. This was the very first time, that I've ever recived a rose. Then I touched the note and read the front flap, in careful hand writing my name was written. To Riley Dawson. 

  I opened the note, and on that special note, in careful hand writing ofcorse, it read: I find it amazing that a guy hasn't tried to kiss you, and you haven't given in. And I get it, you want to save your first kiss for the guy of your dreams. I've been there, I've tried to do that too. But ... a girl.. nevermind. Anyways I just wanted to let you know, you shouldn't be ashamed of it, it's something you should be proud of.

 "Oh my gosh." I wispered to myself.

  Forgetting about my pancakes I held the rose tighter, ran infront of the mirror. Wow I didn't look that bad, my hair and outfit was still in tackt. Just gotta get that morning breathe away, I ran into the washroom and quickly brushed my teeth. Still clutching the rose, I pulled on my boots and put my phone into my left boot this time. 

  With that, I bursted out of my room. I knocked on Cassidy's door. Snoring was all  heard coming from both Cassidy and Johanna's doors. Well I guess everyone's sleeping in. Now were would Evan be? 2nd floor? I doubt it, he's probably outside or something. Suddenly I heard a splash outside. 

  Well I love swimming, Evan's voice rang in my ears. OH right! He love's to swim. I ran down all the stairs and through the maze of a house. When I finally made it outside, I began yelling Evan's name. "Evan! Evan!" 

  I got to the back quiet quickly and Evan was making his way out of the pool. "Evan!" I was still clutching the rose when I began sprinting towards Evan. Evan held his arms out and I jumped straight into them, dispite the fact that he was dripping wet.

 "I love the rose Evan." I said into his ear.

 "I'm glad you did." Evan laughed.

  It's weird, I'm no longer afraid to talk to him with his shirt off anymore! When we finally stopped hugging I smiled brightly at him. The sun was just peaking it's point at this time, and it made Evan look like a super hero. Tall, muscualar, amazing. 

  Do I like him? hmm.. It wouldn't be bad if I did right? Evan's hands were still around my waist when I put my arms around his neck once again. Maybe I should kiss him.. this isn't forced now is it Riley? I thought. 

 "You know.. there's a first for everything" I said as I watched Evan lean his head towards mine.

  "Indeed" We were now nose to nose, hand in hand, and eye to eye.

 ... Cinammon, enchanting much. I licked my lips just once, before I heard footsteps coming. SHIT. The air went sharp, Johanna is heading out way. Then I saw her in the clearing, getting ready to pounce. That's when it hit me, Johanna is his ex- girlfriend. 

  I didn't wanna let go of Evan. I didn't want to let go of my rose. Evan sensed it too, and suddenly, it happended so fast.. Evan kissed me. And what's funny, I think I kissed him back! I could feel Johanna right infront of us, watching us. But at this rate, I didn't give a shit.

 I felt Evan scoop me up while kissing me. I felt him twirl me around while we kissed. Now this is a real on-screen movie kiss! When he put me down and we stopped kissing, I was so glad that I still had my rose with me. 

  Johanna began to turn red with anger, when Cassidy came running through and pushed her into the water. 

  "Aww! You had your first kiss!" Cassidy smiled.

 I just bit the bottom of my lip.. wait.. my first kiss, was just... used? 

 "WHAT?" Something hit me, Evan kissed me, I liked it, then kissed him back? WHAT THE FRACK IS GOING ON? I ran up the path and into the house, ashamed. 

  ...... My first kiss, was just stolen by a guy with .. cinammon smelling breath. Did I like it for real? ..
