************************************
Scott couldn't help but stare and Mitch's peaceful face, he had fallen asleep curled up next to him and drifted off like he used to, they hadn't really had times like this recently so it was nice. Mitch began to shift and murmur, causing Scott to worry that their moment was almost up until he realized that Mitch was talking and moving in his sleep.
Was he having a nightmare? Scott knew he was stressed and confused, all he wanted to do was make him feel better about everything and he couldn't. Mitch's breath sped up and he started to whine, what was going on in that beautiful mind? "Scotty, need you." Mitch was calling for him in his sleep? What was he supposed to do?
"I'm here Mitchie, Im right here." Scott was so worried, he knew Mitch had trouble sleeping so he didn't want to just wake him up. "Mitchie what do you need from me? Tell me what I can do." Mitch began to moan and slightly, Scott didn't know what to think until his friend started to grind his hips into his thigh. Was Mitch having a wet dream? But... he moaned Scott's name, as far as he knew Mitch only knew one Scott... what the hell was going on?
"Scotty, Scott, baby please. I ne- I need you so bad." Mitch whimpered as he continued to move against Scott's thigh. Scott knew he should've woken Mitch up, he knew he should've gotten up and walked away but he was frozen in place as Mitch showed him just how well he could move his hips. Scott wanted nothing more than to allow his hand to slip slowly into Mitch's pants and help him out but he knew that was wrong, the man was asleep for heaven's sake!
Scott had to get out of there, he slowly moved his friend until he could stand up and looked down at him. Mitch's face was covered in pleasure and it took all of Scott's willpower to walk away but somehow he did. He kissed Mitch's forehead before whispering, "I love you Mitch."
As he made his way to his bed Scott heard Mitch say one last thing that brought tears of joy to his eyes "I love you too Scott... and I always will."
*THE NEXT MORNING*
As Scott stretched he felt his joints give a delicious crack before opening his eyes, the sight of his gorgeous best friend smirking from the doorway brought back memories of last night that his... friend downstairs... couldn't ignore. He shifted so as to effectively hide his morning wood but knew it wasn't working by the look that flashed across Mitch's face... maybe Mitch had meant what he said last night.
"Good morning," Mitch said before coming into the room and jumping on the bed on his hands and knees "Thanks for being there for me yesterday. You've always been my rock and I'm glad that I was here to be yours." Mitch smiled at Scott before crawling up beside him and turning to sit with his back against the headboard and his head on Scott's shoulder.
"I wish every day could be like this, just us hanging out. I know we both agreed to not mention it until it was absolutely necessary but I don't know how Im going to survive going to college and leaving you here." Mitch just moved closer in response, the two boys already spent every day together but Scott knew he was right. They hadn't had a morning like this in months... three months to be exact. When Mitch started dating Kirstie things just sort of changed, not on purpose but it had happened and soon he'd be gone.
"Well, then let's make the most of today and make a pact. Every Sunday from now until the end of this year is our day. We'll spend it together!" Mitch said, smiling up at Scott, causing his heart to explode. "Starting with today; get dressed, we'll go to Starbucks and then shopping!" he laughed before jumping out of the bed and looking back at Scott, "Quickly lazy bones, quickly!" both boys laughed as Scott finally got out of bed.
Just as Mitch was leaving the room Scott thought of something, "Mitchie, do you know another Scott?" he asked... truly curious.
"Nope, you're the onliest one my dear!" Mitch laughed as he continued to walk. So that meant that last night Mitch had been talking about him... dreaming about him. Wow. Scott knew he couldn't just spring this information on Mitch, there was a reason he hadn't said anything yet, but he also knew that he had to win Mitch's heart completely. He just had to.
