I need to know if you guys want smut next chapter, thats about it. I'm having a rough day but I really hope you like this chapter.

Scott was still sick, he was getting better but he wasn’t allowed back to school until Tuesday, which was making for a very lonely Monday for Mitch. Well technically Monday was over but still, he had dealt with stares from people all day who looked like they had just been waiting for Scott to leave so that they could attack him but they stayed away and he was thankful because he wasn’t sure how to handle them or their shit.

Mitch grinned as Kirstie bounced up, “Mitch I know I promised to go with you to cheer up Scotty but Andrew Blackman just asked me to go see a movie with him. Please don’t freak, you’ve seen him, he’s gorgeous and I couldn’t just say no.” Mitch just shook his head and laughed, he couldn’t say she was wrong. The guy was gorgeous, nowhere near as gorgeous as Scott but he might’ve been biased so he just let it go.

“You’re fine Kirst, I can take care of him by myself just this once.” Mitch playfully rolled his eyes and she just hugged him before running off. Mitch turned back to his locker and grabbed his book bag before shutting the door and pulling out his phone. He couldn’t wait to see Scott, school was seriously dull without him and it just proved how awful next year was going to be for Mitch because he wouldn’t even have Kirstie to distract him from missing his boyfriend.

“Tell scotty I sure did miss his gorgeous face today.” Mitch rolled his eyes at the sound of Jackson’s annoying voice. This guy was still following Scott around like a lovesick puppy and it was starting to get pathetic. Scott just thought he had made a nice new friend but Mitch saw through all of Jackson’s bullshit and it made him sick that he had to play nice but he wasn’t about to start drama over something that was already decided. Scott’s heart belonged to him and he trusted his boyfriend, case closed. “Oh Mitch, don’t be like that. I’m still going to allow him to be friends with you when he and I end up together.”

That was the last straw, Mitch was ending this now. “Excuse you? You can’t allow him to do anything because he’s his own damn person and secondly you’re not getting my boyfriend you pathetic little bitch. Can you just stop, he loves me and your games are getting old.” Mitch tried to brush past him but Jackson stood in his way.

“You’ve got some nerve, you think that just because Scott claims to love you that’ll stop him from having fun after he escapes this hell hole? That’s pathetic. You’re not attractive, you’re irritating, and to be quite honest you’re putting on a little weight. You don’t know when to push back from the table and you also don’t know when you’re wasting your time. Savor these last few days with Scott because he’ll be hundreds of miles away soon and you’ll be the last damn thing he’ll be worried about.” Mitch didn’t even respond, he just walked around Jackson… most of what he said was complete bullshit and he knew it but he also knew he had gained a little weight… was it really that obvious?

No. No, it couldn’t be… and even if he did gain weight Scott would still love him no matter what… but what if he didn’t? What if everyone thought he was a cow but they were too afraid to say it? His clothes had gotten tighter and even though there had been no complaints from Scott, Mitch still decided that maybe he could stand to lose a few pounds. He would take what Jackson tried to use as cruel words and turn them into constructive criticism.

Since he didn’t have Scott to take him, Mitch had driven his own car to school so he quickly climbed in and put the key in the ignition. He saw a familiar face in the crowd of students but it definitely wasn’t someone who was enrolled there, all Mitch could do was start the car and drive off quickly. Why the hell had Casey been at their school? He didn’t belong there and the fact that he had been that close to Mitch made him glad that Scott hadn’t been there that day.
