Chapter 11: Secrets

It's been 2 days since Dal and I got back together, we haven't told or spoken to Johnny of it, we just kind of keep our distance when he's around but I need to tell him soon, todays Ponyboy's birthday! He's officially 16. Tonight we're going to be having cake at his house. w
We're also gonna just hang out and stuff it'll be hard since Johnny is gonna be there, and Dal. 
It's 6 o'clock in the evening, Dal and I are walking to the Curtis' house, we do this thing where he hides a feet away from me and walks in a few minutes after I do, just so it's not suspicious.
I walk in and congratulate Ponyboy, he and I haven't been too close since Dal and I started dating.
"Happy birthday Ponyboy!!" I say as I hug him
"Thanks Rosie" he says
"So what's going down tonight?" I ask
"Well dinner'll be ready soon, so we'll eat whenever Dal gets here" said Darry, and in comes Dally as if called on stage.
"Speak of the devil" Johnny mutters, he's not mad at Dal that much anymore, I hope.
We eat dinner and cake, give Ponyboy some presents,Johnny and I had bought him a few books, he thanked us and said he'd read them soon.
We were all drinking and hanging out, Johnny wasn't happy about me drinking but we all  told him to chill out, and I wasn't gonna have no more than 2 maximum, don't feel like get wasted tonight.
But Dally had other plans, he and Two are chugging them down one after another.
Before I know it, we're all sitting on the floor in a circle, playing truth or dare.
"Okay Pony, since it's your birthday you're first. Truth or dare?" Asks Darry, who's having a great time relaxing and having fun, it's nice to see him not so stressed out.
"Uh truth" Pony answers
"Ugh fine, Have you ever kissed a girl?" Asked Darry, we're all interested in this answer pony's never brought a girl around us so we wouldn't know.
"Yes" He says not worried at all
"With who?" I ask
"You'll have to ask me that on the next truth or dare" he winks at me, he always plays like that, 'only one question'. 
"Ok Darry,  How old were you when you first went all the way?" Pony asks and Darry's obviously slightly embarrassed but he plays it off
"You didn't ask truth or dare Ponyboy, but I'd pick truth so, 15" He says earning a whistle from Steve
"Steve, truth or dare" Asks Darry
"Fuck it, Dare." He says bravely, not many people are brave enough to take a dare from Darrell Curtis
"Don't eat any kind of cake for the next 24 hours" Steve's jaw dropped and he looked like he slightly wanted to cry
"Oh fuck you darry" he mumble "fine" he finishes
"Dal" He starts "truth or dare?" He Asks
"Dare" Dal answers
"Kiss Amber" Johnny's face grew angry and since Dally was so drunk I guess he forgot
"Come here baby" he kisses me and wraps his arm over my shoulders "this is my girl I tell ya I love her sooooo much, I'm so happy she forgave me" he says slurring and all eyes were on us, I look at Johnny whose mad as hell.
"Johnny?" I ask him
"So you're back together?" He asks
"Yes" I say
"Ok" He says and walks out of the door
I chase after him
"Wait Johnny!!"
"For what? You to tell me you're back with him, oh wait!" He says sarcastically
"Please Johnny, I'm sorry. I was meaning to tell ya, I was just scared you wouldn't let me get back with him, and I just love him so much Johnny I can't stand having my big brother mad at me cause I love a guy!" I say
"You really do love him don't you?" He Asks
"With all I am"
"Then I'll try to be ok with it, I don't like what he did, but I'll try to forgive him too. For you." He says and I pull him into a hug, damn I love my brother.
