Chapter 20: End Of book 1

I've been having nightmares about Johnny's death, it's so scary going through it over and over, again. At least I stopped having nightmares about my dad.
Dal and I have been really good, staying at Bucks, I love him so much. We are gonna get married soon, we're gonna do it on Johnny's birthday, my idea.
We just want him to be with us on the day his sister, and best buddy marry. 
Ponyboy's gotten better, his grades slipped at first a little but not too much.
They didn't send Pony and Soda to boys homes thank god, when the trial went down for the murder of Bob.
They took it as self defence and didn't say anything of it after that. Well will always remember Johnny, how could you forget him really?
Ponyboy and Darry ain't been fighting anymore.
Two-Bit even found himself a girl, he's mighty in love with her. They got their own place, Well whenever Two moves in with her. He ain't been stealing as much anymore, of course he'll swipe a small thing now and then but he's alright.
Soda and Darry, they've been working hard to keep Ponyboy safe and happy.
Steve is thinking of opening his own mechanics place with Soda, they seem set on it.
As for Dally, he's been staying out of trouble but he still has fun all the time.

As for me, I couldn't be happier with Dally.

I miss Johnny, but he's always in my heart, and I am always with him, because I am, the scar he left behind.
