So here's Chapter three!!! Sorry it's taking me so long to update on all of my stories; we've had some family emergencies the past week or two and it's been hard on me and my writing schedule! But, since summer is here and I'll be on the beach for a WEEK, hopefully I'll get some major writing done :)

Chapter 3
“So, are we really gonna go to the party?”
I look over at Macy. She’s looking down at her hands in her lap, wringing them together nervously, refusing to meet my stare, looking nervous as hell. She knows how much I cannot stand parties.
I sigh and lean an elbow out the open window, my wavy blonde hair blowing behind me as we cruise down the nearly deserted street, shades down and the radio in the background. I knew she was going to second guess me. I mean sure, it had crossed my mind to let her go alone and just make Mitch stay home and watch movies with me, but I know that Macy would never be confident enough to go by herself. She’s just so shy. I can’t even imagine her considering it.
“Yeah,” I say slowly, leaning against my arm and letting one arm drape over Lieutenant’s wheel. “I know you know I don’t want to go, but I can hang out with Jason and Blake while you and Kyler go off and make babies or something.”
Her blush is totally worth going.
“We will not be making babies,” she says furiously, whispering the last part, slapping my arm and making me laugh. “Besides,” she says with a sniff, “I don’t even like him that much. He’s probably just all brawn and no brain.”
“Sure,” I say, totally not believing her. Her and I both know that Kyler is in the top ten for the smartest kids in our grade. He’s like a little mini Einstein, but with the looks of a Greek god.
Only some are that blessed. ,
We make it to my house in about ten minutes or so. As we pull onto my street, she says in a soft voice, “You know, we really don’t have to go. We can just chill and watch movies, like we normally do.”
“No, it’s fine. Really,” I say when she gives me a look. “I promise I’ll behave. I’ll just go for as long as you want to stay, stuffing my face with barbecue and potato chips, maybe gain an extra ass, no big deal.”
She laughs at that. “Ha, you’re funny. But on a serious note, I think you’ll end up having some fun! I mean, I know you don’t like Jackson, but I don’t think Chase and Kyler are all that bad.”
I grin at her as I pull up and turn Lieutenant off. “I’m pretty sure you don’t think that Kyler is bad at all.”
“Oh shove it, will you?” she says, blushing, pushing the door open and closing it with a bang, causing me to snigger. “And while we’re on the general topic of people we think each other is interested in, what ever happened to Seth? We haven’t talked about him in ages.”
I sigh and shut my own door, clicking the lock on the way up to the front door, digging the keys out out my backpack. “I don’t know really,” I say as I unlock the door and leave it open behind me and leave the key in the lock. I know Macy will shut it and place my keys in the little bowl on the entry hall table where I pick them up every morning on the way out. I set my sunglasses down there too.
