I awoke naturally this morning, on my own clock inside my head. I sat up and rubbed the tired out of my eyes and trying to tame the mess I call my hair. I got up and brushed my hair. I looked over at the clock and saw it was 7:22. 'It should be early enough no ones up, so I guess I can make surprise breakfast' I thought and walked out of my room. The wooden floor creaked as I walked down the small hallway heading for the kitchen. But I heard something else, it kinda sounded like bacon sizzling ..... I turned the corner and saw brown, messy, curly hair bouncing around as jack tried to put bacon in without getting splattered by grease. It was a funny sight to see so I stayed behind the corner till he was putting in the last one. His arm was extended as far as it could go with his hand holding the bacon above the pan. "Good morning" I said as I walked around to the bar stool. "Good morning" he responded. I guess he tried to act "manly" when I came because he instantly came closer to the pan and dropped it in like nothing happens. He was hit with hot grease and clearly regretted it. "Shit" he yelped and grabbed his arm as he jumped back. I laughed and covered my mouth trying not to seem rude. "Oh you think this is funny huh?" He said rubbing his arm and smiling. "Actually I kinda do" I said now giggling. Jack came up and grabbed my hand that was covering my mouth. "Don't cover your beautiful smile or laugh, ever." He said as we stared into each others eyes. His brown eyes are just so perfect. Then he dropped my hand and went back to the bacon. I slightly frowned but tried not to show it. "So what got you up so early, I mean it is summer." I said resting my head on my hands. "Ohh, um I just woke up early, so I thought I would make breakfast for us." He said while slightly blushing. I brushed it off, probably just from the heat of the stove. "Oh that's sweet, is your mom joining us today?" I asked while I reached over and picked up the least burnt piece of bacon. "No, she's gonna be gone all day today, she usually is." He said with a slight hint of sadness. "But my mom said she didn't want you starting your job till Monday and since today is...um...what's today?" He asked confused. I giggled and replied with," Tuesday " . "Ya so you have a 6 day break." He said and smiled. I too, smiled at the thought. 6 days with jack and no work to do, in this amazing house all by ourselves. My smile grew but I snapped out of my thoughts when jack put a plate of eggs and slightly brown bacon in front of me. "Oj or milk or you know boring water." He said as he opened the fridge. "I'll have boring water." I said imitating his deep voice. "Ok, but I definitely don't sound like that." He said walking to the cupboard, which I guess holds the cups. "I definitely don't sound like that." I said imitating him again. " you know what no water for you, then." He said while putting back the cup, being playful. "No no no, I'm sorry, please don't put away the boring water!" I whined while picking up my fork. "Fine. " he said and went over to the water despencer that's attached to the fridge. He filled it to the top and brought it to me. "Thank you for breakfast." I said while putting in a piece of egg in my mouth. "No problem , princess." He whispered the last part but I heard him. We both ate our breakfast and talked about random crap. "I'm going to go get ready for whatever we're doing today." I said getting up and putting my plate in the sink. "Ok, wear your bathing suit!" He yelled as I walked down through the other living room. I smiled, and slightly skipped to my room. Today will be fun.

~Jacks Pov~

I awoke to the sound of my alarm clock. Ughhhhh I still haven't turned that stupid thing off!  I sat up and slammed the off button and it fell to the floor. "Dammit" I whispered underneath my breath and reached down from my bed to grab it. I spun it around and put it back and looked at the time. 6:58. Huh, what if I made y/n breakfast! That's a perfect idea. I don't know where this sudden burst of energy came from but it was here. I got up threw on the first shirt I saw and jumped down stairs. Just in time to see my mom walking out the door. "Bye sweetie!" She said. I said nothing and just sighed. I mean she's always gone and that's how it's always been.
