CHAPTER 5

*Kate's POV*

"Do you want to meet my friends?" Asked Connor.

"Um, I don't know." I said shyly.

"Awe come on, please." He begged.

"Oh, alright!" I said getting up.

"By the way, your wearing our name on your hoodie, O2L, stands for Our Second Life." He said.

"Oh my gosh, I didn't know. My friend gave it to me and I never knew what it meant." I said.

"Oh, well now you do!" He said.

"Cool, are y'all like YouTube famous?" I asked.

"Yup, me, kian, JC, ricky, and a few others." He said.

"Oh, okay." I said.

When we reached their room, Connor knocked on the door.

A guy answered, looked at Connor, then me.

"Hey man!" Said the same guy doing a handshake with connor, "who's this?" He asked pointing to me.

"Im Kate," I said.

"kian." He said.

"And this is JC and Ricky." said Kian pointing to them.

they waved and then looked back at their phones.

"Guys," said Connor.

"What!" They said.

"there's a bag of Lays Potato Chips on the floor, pick it up, now!" Said Connor pointing at the bag of chips.

JC rolled his eyes and picked up the bag of Chips.

"Thankyou." Said Connor, "let's go out to eat, and Kate's coming too."

"Nah, your just going to invite us somewhere and then ditch her!" Said JC.

"Manly Problems." Whispered Connor.

I giggled a little, while they all came to the door.

"Lets go!" Said Kian running down the hall.

"oh boy." Said Ricky.

I liked them, they seemed fun and different.

We walked out of the hotel to JC's Car. Of course JC was driving, Ricky sat in the passenger seat, then it was me, Connor, and then Kian in the back.

"We're going to Panera is that good?" JC asked. I just froze. That's it, no flashback, just staring out the window thinking about when I went to Panera with Nash.

"Kate, Kate!" Said Connor.

"Oh, sorry what was that?" I said.

"are you fine with Panera?" Asked JC.

"Yup!" I said.

When we arrived at Panera we ordered our food and sat down.

Guess who I saw walk in, Nash, Cam, Hayes, Dillon, Taylor, Matt, and Carter.

"Oh my god." I said.

"What?" Asked Kian.

I looked at Connor, and then at the guys ordering.

He looked over and saw them.

"Oh." He said.

"Is there something we don't know about?" Asked Ricky.

"Um, excuse me." I said getting up and walking to the restroom. I put on my hood and walked in.

I hated to hide all the time, but its the only way for me to be safe.

I peeked out the door and saw them talking to Connor and them.

"Dang it!" I said.

Then they combined tables with them.

"Okay, well, I'm leaving." I said to myself. I made sure my hood was on, and I made my way out the door. I went by the window and Connor was looking out it, he saw me, and I saw him.

He gave me that innocent look, and mouthed the word SORRY.

Nash saw him looking at someone, and he saw me.

He sat up from the table and was making his way towards the entrance. I started running again.
