Life or Death 2 (Cameron Dallas, Nash Grier)

CHAPTER 16

*Kate's POV*

I honestly don't remember the last time I lived a normal day. I would either, get hurt, be sad, get caught,or fall. I don't remember going out with friends, having fun, and living the life. All I crave is a normal, and fun day.

"I look out the window at the trees, and then it hits me, what if I changed my image for just one day, so I can live how I want to, without hiding under a hoodie.

When we arrive I go up to my room, and open my suitcase. I have hair die and colored contacts. Since I have blonde hair, I grab the brown hair die, then I grab green eye contacts.

This hair die washes out once you take a shower so one day will be enough.

I go take a shower, and when I come out I put the hair dye in, I wait about an hour, and I reveal my hair. Its a light brown, and it looks really good. I straighten my hair and I then take the green contacts and put them in my eyes.

I put on foundation, eyeliner, and mascara. I look like a totally different person. For today, my name is Kay. I put on white jean shorts, a royal blue muscle tank, and white vans. I then put on a royal blue beanie. I grab my penny board, and make my way to the hotel the boys are staying at.

On my way out of the hotel, I went past Connor, JC, Kian, and Ricky. They all stared at me like they didn't know me. Oh ya they didn't know this me, I'm so stupid sometimes. I skate to the hotel where MAGCON stays at, and I go up to Cams room.

I knock.

Cam answers,

"Hi, can I help you?" He asks.

"Um yeah, I'm a friend of hayes, can I see him?" I ask.

"Um, sure, name?" He asks.

"Kay." I say.

"Okay Kay, I'll be right back." He says.

I hear voices,

"What, I don't have a friend named Kay!" Hayes says.

"Just go, shes really pretty." Says Cam.

I giggle at that.

The door opens and Hayes come out.

"I'm sorry but I don't"

"its me Kate." I say interrupting him.

"Really, Kate smith?" He asks.

"Yup, i disguised myself because its the only way we could hangout." I say.

"Awesome, let me grab my penny board." He says.

When he goes back in the room, I hear him talking to Cam again.

"Actually I do have a friend name Kate, I mean Kay." Hayes says.

"Oooh, does Hayes like someone." Says Cam.

"Uh, no, I think your the one that likes her." Hayes says.

"Excuse me, but I like Kate." Cam says.

"Yeah, exactly," says hayes.

Hayes comes out of the door and says,

"Okay, I'm ready!" He says.

"Let's do what we did the first time we hung out." I said.

"You mean crash into me?" He says.

"No, I mean go to Starbucks!" I say.

"Oh, okay." He says.

when we reach the out doors, we start to skate.

"First one to Starbucks wins!" I say.

Hayes is really fast but, I think I'm faster.

"I won." Says Hayes.

I let him win but I didn't say that.

"Congrats, now let's go in." I say.

We go drink Starbucks, then we go to the ice rank and skate.

"today, was awesome!" Said Hayes.

"I know, it was amazing!" I say.

When we arrived back at the hotel we went to Hayes room.

"Hey," said Hayes.

"Hi." Said cam, "did you two have fun?"

"Yup," said Hayes.

"I'm Cam," he said holding his hand out.

"And I know you." I say, "the names Kay."

"I'm going to call Kate." Said Cam.

Oh no.

*Phone Rings*

"Aren't you going to answer that?" Says Hayes.

Sometimes I swear he's the dumbest kind out there.

I answer it, "hey Cam." I say.

He looks at me and hangs up.

"Kate?" He says.

"Yes." I say.

He walks over to me and gives me a big hug.

"Is this permanent?" He says holding my hair.

"haha, no." I say.

Suddenly Nash comes in.

"Who's this?" Says Nash.

"Kay." Says Hayes.

"You look like an old friend of mine." He says looking sad.

"Really, what's her name." I say.

"K k Kate." He says.

I smiled.

"well, I've got to go." I say.

"Why," says Nash.

"Because." I say.

"Stay, we're going to the pool." He says.

"Oh, um, you see, I didn't bring a bathing suit." I say.

"That's alright you can swim in that."

"Oh, I guess." I say worriedly.
