CHAPTER 53

*Kate's POV*

"Y'all should make a surprise guest at MAGCON today!" I said.

"Actually, that's a good idea," said Hayes.

Cam drove to where MAGCON was being held. Cam and Hayes put on a hoodie, but I didn't have to. We got out and walked in.

"Ticket please," the lady said.

"Hayes, Hayes Grier." He said.

"Oops sorry," she said.

She let us go up a certain set of stairs that was blocked off. We went around then went down some stairs. We ended up backstage.

"Kate!" Said Connor walking to me, "Be my partner on stage!" He said pulling me.

"Connor!" I yelled.

He still pulled me, and the lights blinded me when I hit the stage, but thank god I looked good that day.

"This is a good friend of ours named Kate!" Said Nash pointing to me.

I whispered in Nash's ear and he gave me the mic instead.

"Okay so we have two special guests for y'all Dallas!" I said and they all cheered.

"One has the last name of this town so come on out, Cameron Dallas, and Hayes Grier!" I yelled.

They both ran out and waved to the crowd.

"really that's your joke?" Cam whispered to me.

"Okay, so," said Nash, " think of who you like right now,"

I of course thought of mine.

"On a count of three, all of us say who we like at the same time." He said, and everyone nodded.

"One, two, three," he said.

"Cam," I said, and I was the only one who said anything.

Everyone stared at me. I turned around and ran behind backstage.

"Kate," cam screamed but I didn't turnback around, I just kept on running and running. I ran out the door, It was a ten minute run, then I ran in the hotel, and up to my room. I can't believe what just happened. Everyone heard it, especially Cam!

I heard the door open and someone came in.

"Kate, can we talk?" Asked Cam.

I just ignored him.

"Well, MAGCON ended and everyone's going out for dinner so we were wondering if you wanted to come." He said.

"I don't know," I said while my face was in the pillow.

"Okay, but we're going to Chipotle," he said.

"Chipotle?" I asked while picking my head up.

"Yup," he said.

I got up but I didnt look at him once.

We walked down the hall together but it was quiet.

When we got outside there were two limos and Cam, hopped into Nash's.

"Oh, no, the limos are full, I guess I can't go," I said.

"There's room next to Cam," said Nash.

"I'll call a cab, I dont want to ruin ya'lls fun," I said.

"How would you ruin it?" Asked Nash.

I closed the door, and went up to the driver and said, "step on it."

He did and they sped off.

The other limo followed and I was there, alone, as usual.

I called a cab and it came 2 minutes later. I hopped In and told him to go to Chipotle. He did and we arrived 5 minutes later. When I walked inside, there was one spot left, and that was next to Cam. I sighed but then sat next to him. We got up and got our food, then we sat back down. I got up to quickly go to the restroom.

"Uh," I said when I bumped into someone and fell.

Cam was watching me.

"I'm so sorry," he said.

"Its okay," I said

"Oh my god, Kate?" He said.

"Brent!" I said.

we hugged and then released.

"I haven't seen you in forever!" He said.

Me and Brent went to the same school.

"This is so weird," I said.

"Haha, hey, you wanna sit with my brother and I?" He asked.

"Uh," I said looking back at my table, "sure!"

I walked back and grabbed my plate.

"Where you going?" Cam asked.

"I'm sitting with someone else," I said walking away.

*Cam's POV*

I heard Kate fall, so I turned around, she bumped into Brent. They talked for a little then she came back. She picked up her plate and started walking away.

"Where you going?" I asked.

"I'm sitting with someone else," she said, now walking away.

"Where's she going?" Asked Nash.

"to sit with Brent Rivera." I said.

"Ooh, Brents here?" He asked.

"Ya," I said.

"You mad?" He asked.

" i don't know," I said.

"It doesn't even seem like you like her from my eyes," Nash said.

"Well she doesn't like me!" I shouted.

Everyone heard, and Kate stared.

"Didn't you hear what she said today on stage?" He whispered.

"Yea, but she's already told me that she will always love me no matter what, and she still likes me, I really like her, but she would never date me, that's why I don't try." I said.

"Well," said Nash, "make her want to, and maybe she will."
