CHAPTER 36

*Kate's POV*

"Come on Kate, let's go." Said Hayes.

"No she's staying with us, she can't be in anymore danger." Said Nash.

"Oh so you think this was my fault!" Screamed Hayes.

"Now that I think about it, yes, it was your fault." Said Nash.

Hayes got angrier and angrier. Hayes jumped up but Jack G grabbed him before he could attack Nash.

"I love Kate, more than a friend but as a sister, I like having an older sister more than I like having an older brother!" Yelled Hayes, he was now walking away.

Nash looked devastated. Nash ran after Hayes, but they soon disappeared in the distance.

"Well, at least your okay," said Matt.

"Yea, I don't know what I would do if I lost you baby." Said Jack G now hugging me.

I could tell he was fakeing this whole thing.

"yea." I said hugging him back.

"awe," said Carter.

I just smiled at him because it didn't look like Jack liked me. I could tell it was all just Reese he was still aiming for.

I walked over, grabbed my penny board and started walking to where Nash and Hayes ran.

"Where you going!" Someone yelled.

"Away." I screamed back.

Now I was running, it felt good to run, I hadn't done it in a while. I ran back to the hotel up to Nash's room.

I knocked on the door.

Nash answered.

"Hi," I said while coming in.

"Hayes won't come out of the bathroom." He sad sadly.

I hugged Nash.

"Don't worry, your a good brother." I said.

He hugged me back and it was a very long hug, like maybe a 20 second hug.

We released from the hug about the same time, and we just smiled at each other. We were both still pretty wet, but I had sand on my back and it was on Nash's sleeves.

"Sorry," I said while pointing to his sleeves.

He just laughed, I really liked his laugh.

"Its alright," he said.

I walked over to the bathroom door and knocked on it.

"Nash go away!" Hayes screamed.

"I'm not Nash," I said.

"Kate?" He said with a little sniffle.

"Yes hayes," I said.

"You can come in," he said.

I heard that he unlocked the door and I walked in quietly shutting the door behind me.

"You know Nash loves you." I said.

His face was red and he had clear tear marks on his cheeks.

I went up to him and wiped them off.

"Hayes, your brother was just trying to make things best, and you have to understand that." I said.

He just nodded and then hugged me.

I hugged him back and it was a long hug.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"What are y'all doing in there." Yelled Nash.

we looked at each other and laughed.

I walked up to the door and opened it, Nash walked past me and went to Hayes.

"I'm sorry bro." He said.

Hayes just stood up and hugged him.

"Awe," I said.

Hayes gave me the evil eye and I just blew a kiss.

I walked out of the room and went upstairs to my room.

I saw Taylor and he smiled at me, then jack saw me and walked up to me.

"Hey babe," he said while hugging me.

"Hey Jack," I said awkwardly.

"So you going to that party tomorrow at the O2L house?" He asked.

"Yea, you?" I asked back.

"of course!" He said.

He turned to me, and I turned to him.

"Till then," he said.

He started to lean in, but I knew he didn't like me like I liked him, but I just did it anyway. We kissed and it lasted for 4 seconds and then I pulled away.

"Bye," I said.

He just smirked and we took our sperate ways. All the guys were watching except Nash and Hayes of course. I walked into my room and crashed on my bed.

I put my face in my pillow and screamed in it. The guy I liked didn't like me back, and even though we were dating, it wasn't real dating, we were faking it, and he doesn't feel the same way.
