CHAPTER 17

*Kate's POV*

we're walking to the outdoor pool in the hotel, its dark outside but I really don't want to take that risk. All the guys came, and so did 02L.

"Hey guys!" Said Connor walking In.

"Hey man!" All the guys were saying.

Nash gave me a towel, so I set it down, and laid on my chair. They were pushing and shoving each other in. That gave me butterflies, what if they push me in.

"Why aren't you getting in?" Asked hayes.

"Well, my hair dye comes out in water." I say.

"ooooh, okay!" he said jumping in the pool while sprinkles of water fell on me.

"Hey, I'm Connor, I saw you today at the hotel." He said to me.

"Hi, I'm Kay, and yeah I saw you too." I said.

"Cool, would you like to go out to eat sometime?" He asked.

"No." I said.

"What?" He said.

"Haha, I'm kate, I disguised myself so I could hangout with Hayes." I said.

"Oh, well hey Kate!" He said.

"Shh, keep it down." I said.

"Sorry, but would you still like to go to lunch with me sometime, as friends of course so we could get to know each other better." He asked.

"I would love to." I said.

"Great." He said.

Suddenly five people surrounded me at once.

It was Taylor, matt, Nash, Carter, and Jack g.

"Don't you dare." I said.

They just laughed and picked me up.

"Let me go!" I screamed.

They counted, "3, 2, 1!"

Then they threw me into the 8 foot water.

I was under water and I opened my eyes to see the dye coming out, my hair was almost fully blonde.

"Huuuuuuh." I said while coming out of the water. I quickly got out and ran away.

"Come back it was just a joke!" Someone yelled.

I kept running up to Cams room, i grabbed my penny board and made my way down to the lobby. I saw the guys coming back from the pool, I noticed that a couple of them saw me. Right now, I was Kate smith. I kept skating and skating, even though I kept hearing the boys calling my name. When I arrived to the hotel I grabbed my penny board and ran up to my room.

I looked at myself in the mirror and my hair still had a little bit if brown dye in it, so i decided to take a shower. When I got out my hair was blonde again. Then I heard a knock at he door. I Quickly put on my black soffes, and a white cheer nationals t shirt. I cracked the door open, it was Cam, Hayes, Carter, Dillon, and Taylor.

I opened the door wider, then Carter put his hands on his mouth and his eyes were watering.

"I still just can't believe your alive." He said.

"Come in guys." I said.

They came in and sat on the bed.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked.

"Well," said Taylor, "we're here to see our old friend."

I smiled and hugged each of them.

"plus, we want to keep you safe." Said Dillon.

"And we're wondering why you won't tell Nash about your real self." Said Carter.
