What Happened

Shelby (point of view)

I sat in my room typing my book that I have been working on for a while I haven’t really been comfortable to read it to anyone besides my friend McKenna. I would be so embarrassed if one of the guys read it, but I know how nice they are and I know that they would never do that. I was done with the silence what was in my room and turned on my music and put on For The Love Of A Daughter by Demi Lovato it didn’t fit into my life but I loved the lyrics and of course I would tear up a little, it seems to happen a lot to me when I would listen to a song that wouldn’t really bring people to tears. I heard footsteps coming up to my room and I tried to dry my eyes before someone came in, I heard a light knock on my door I looked up and saw Louis leaning on the door, “You okay?” he asked me. “Oh…um…ya I’m fine, um…what’s up,” I said, “Oh um I was wondering have you seen Zayn?” he asked me, “I haven’t seen him since after dinner when I was doing the dishes, do you think something happened to him?” I asked him. Ever since they moved in they were like family and I hate it when one of my family members are missing.

We heard the front door slam and we both quickly ran down the stairs to see what was going on, I noticed that Louis, who was in front of me stopped, “Hey why did you stop?” I asked him “We found Zayn,” he said, I squeezed past him and noticed that Zayn was being supported by Liam and Niall. I began to tear up I never thought that I would see him like this, his hair was all messed up and he smelled like a brewery, he looked up at me and I noticed that his face was in complete shock I guess that he didn’t want me to see him like this too. Words cannot describe of how shocked I was with him coming home like this, I walked back upstairs until Zayn tried to say something. “Shelby please wait let’s talk,” he began to say but I didn’t want to hear it I left the room and headed into my room and shut the door.

Zayn (point of view)

“Shelby please wait let’s talk,” I told her before she left the room I never wanted her to see me like this, ah why did Louis bring her down stairs, why didn’t he stop her? I did my best to walk upstairs to her room I could hear she crying on the other side of the door, I tried to open it but I guessed she had her back to the door so I couldn’t open it, so I did the same thing I sat down and laid my head on the door. “Ugh…look Shelby I’m sorry that you had to see me like this but I am really trying to stop, it’s just hard,” I began to say I stopped because I wanted to know if she was listening to me but I guess not. I stayed in front of the door because I couldn’t make, my way back down the stairs “You just need to give her some time,” Harry said to me. I shook my head to let him know that I understood, “You know she looks up to you or she looks up to us, she sees us as her big brothers-“ he began to say until I interrupted him, “Please your making it worse than it already is,”  I told him while holding my head. I knew that she looked up to us and I knew after this she wouldn’t want anything to do with me.

Everyone was going to bed Shelby let Liam into the room I guess he was sleeping in her room tonight, all of us would take turns sharing the bed since there was only a little bit of room in the house I laid on the floor in front of the door, I felt my body being moved from the floor and onto a soft bed. “Thanks Liam for your help,” I heard Shelby say, I don’t think she got onto the bed because I didn’t feel the bed move. I woke up when I knew that they we're not talk anymore I looked around and found Shelby sleeping on the floor and I saw a note next to the pillow that I was laying on.  

I’m sorry for how I reacted I guess it’s because I see you as my big brother and I guess I just over reacted, I really don’t like the idea of you drinking but I know that you can’t help it. So I’m sorry that I’m not awake to tell you this myself but I have my last exams tomorrow, so we can talk when I come home. –Shelby

I couldn’t help but tear up, I sat up on the bed and looked down at Shelby, I leaned over and began to ring my fingers through her hair and began to play with it before I fell back to sleep. “What are you doing Zayn you should be sleeping,” I heard Liam say, I looked up and saw Liam hanging over the edge of the bed. “Oh I was just telling her goodnight since I won’t wake up in the morning,” I told him he just patted me on the head and both of us went back to sleep.

Sorry if this chapter isn't that great it took me a while to think on how to make this one a bit emotional, i hae been given some idea on how to put 5SOS i the book so i will do my best to get that in. Also if your made that i had Zayn drunk im sorry but reality he does drink, i also wanted people to see how Shelby would react to something happening in her "Family". if you have anymore idea on this book or info on the guys i would love to hear it. Please vote and comment, and tell you friends, lol jk. Love ya <3 <3
