Uninvited Guest

Shelby (point of view)

The guys were being more annoying than usual, every time I get on my computer they pile on top of me just to see what I’m typing. Its normally Niall who does it but today Louis beet Nail and Louis was the one who sat on top of me this time. He jumped like a five year old but he came down on me like a rock, “Ugh…Louis get off your heavy,” I tried to say but his weight was crushing me. “But your sister and Niall get to sit on you why can’t I?” he asked with puppy eyes. “Because they don’t weigh as much as you do plus they don’t jump on me,” I pointed out. Louis turned to face me and had a hard look on his face and of course my reaction was to give him one back. We did that for a while till Liam and Zayn walked in after going shopping, Louis immediately jumped off me and ran to them like a dog greeting his masters. “So what did you get me,” he asked them while jumping up and down. “We told you we were getting stuff for….” Liam began to say before Zayn jabbed him in the side, “Nothing in here for you just a few things that we wanted to get for ourselves, what have you guys been up too,” Zayn asked completely changing the subject.

“Oh nothing I’m trying to explain to Louis that he’s heavy and that he can’t sit on my lap,” I said. Zayn and Liam looked at me shocked and the glared at Louis “I thought we told you that you can only sit next to her she so small compared to you, you could break her legs, then what would her mom think,” Liam started to say, it was funny when Liam talked to the guys like this he had more of a father figure to him which I thought was cool. Ever since they moved in Liam has been very protective over me he was acting like me dad crying when there was nothing to cry about and taking pictures at random times. Even when they drop me off at school Liam begins to cry and say our little girl is growing up and then tries to take a selfie with me. “So what do you say to her Louis,” said Liam crossing his arms, Louis walked over to me and said he was sorry and of course I forgave him. “So where’s Harry?” Zayn asked, I looked around in shock I really didn’t think about Harry not being in the same room as me, “Maybe he’s sleeping he has been doing that a lot lately,” I said pointing upstairs, “No he’s outside talking to some guy, Shelby do you know him?” Niall asked me while staring outside the window, the figure came into view and I knew exactly who it was.

 

Harry’s (Point of view)

I was outside talking to a guy who claimed to know Shelby, “So how do you know her?” I asked the boy, before he could answer Shelby ran out of her house with a baseball bat and headed toward us. “Harry please go inside I don’t want you to be here when I bet him to a pulp,” she said holding the bat in her hands. I really wanted to know who this guy was but I didn’t want to make Shelby madder then she already is now. I walked over to the house door and sat on the door step and watched Shelby threaten to hit the guy with the bat, he walked to his car and tried to say something but Shelby pointed the bat to the rode gesturing for him to leave. She walked back to the house with a look that could kill someone and not in the good way, she looked at me and then walked inside and came back out with a bag of softballs and started walking off. I went back into the house and the guys looked at me with complete shock, “What did you do this time Harry?” Liam asked me with his arms crossed “I didn’t do anything this time I promise she was yell at a guy that was talking to me and then just walked off,” I said. I felt bad that she was upset but then again it wasn’t my fault that she was mad. “Well we better go and find her,” Niall said with a mouth full of food, we left the house and guessed that she was at the park near her house doing some batting practice, and that is exactly what she was doing.

She would grunt when she hit the ball and for some reason it went farther every time she did that, Zayn being stupid went inside the cage to talk to her which was a bad idea because she was holding a bat and almost took off his head when she swung it back to her shoulder. They both stood there in shock because Shelby didn’t see him and Zayn didn’t think that she was able to move that fast. “What do you guys want?” she asked us with an attitude,  “We just wanted to see if you were ok,” Liam said as calmly as he could, Zayn grabbed her bat and placed it above his head so Shelby was not able to reach it which was funny to watch because she is so short compared to us. “Hey give Insanity back,” she said while she was jumping to get the bat back. “You named it Insanity?” Louis laughed “Why?” Niall asked, “Because it’s on the bat and it a good name for it I name all my bats,” she told us we were still a bit confused but we still wanted to know why she was upset. “Can we talk about what happened?” I asked, I was really curious of who the cowardly boy was and why Shelby wanted him to leave so badly. “Fine,” she puffed out, Shelby and Zayn both walked out of the cage but Zayn was still proudly holding the bat about his head.

“Ok I’ll ask first, who was that guy?” I asked her, she looked at me and then looked at the grass and began to play with it while she talked. “He was my second ex we only dated for two months and only because he was being too clingy and controlling,” she said “His name is Matt and to be honest I never want to see him again he just so annoying,” she said falling back on the ground. We all looked at her in complete shock that she even had a boyfriend, “Wait so he was your boyfriend?” Zayn asked with his mouth wider then all of us “Yes, did you not hear me?” she said back. “Can I have my bat back now?” I asked “No” we all said in unison, she laid back down on the grown and did a little grown of annoyance as she laid down. “So how did you meet him exactly?” Louis asked next “He was my first Boyfriends best friend,” she answered with her eyes closed “Ok, what is his favorite food?” Niall asked. “Really that’s your question Niall are you hungry?” she asked “Yes,” he admitted she through her bag of bass to him and in the bag as one of those Lunchable Rap things. He smiled as he ate it while the rest of us kept asking her questions, “How long has it been at least two years since I last saw him,” she answered. Zayn asked last and it was the most intense question “When did you break up with him?” Zayn asked, “It was on our second month anniversary, and to be honest I completely had no idea it was our anniversary,” she said with a smirk on her face.

We decided to stop asking her questions about him because we thought that if she got her bat back after us annoying her too much she might forget about the balls and start swinging for us. When Zayn handed her the bat we all flinched when she swung it over her shoulder, she picked up the bag of balls and was heading back towards the house we began to follow her; when we got on the road to the house someone yelled her name and she turned around and stood there frozen. We stopped walking and saw a tall man waving at her with a big smile on his face.

Zayn (Point of view)

We saw a man with blond hair and was wearing an Under Armor shirt and basketball shorts, Shelby walked toward the man and began to talk to him. Of course we followed her to find out who it was, I mean we were curious could you blame us? We stood there talking to him for a while then they said good bye and we headed back home, the entire time we were walking home Shelby had a big smile and was blushing like I had never seen her blush before, “So who was that guy?” I asked her she looked up at me and then she looked at the grown, “He’s a friend of mine, that’s all,” she said, it was cute to see her blush she looked like a little kid with her hair in a messy ponytail. “Ok” I said back to her as I nudged her, she of course nudged back,  we began to have a contest of who can nudge who the farthest but it got a little out of hand one minute she’s standing upright and the next thing I know she is face down in the dirt. “Zayn you need to control you strength she is smaller than you remember?” Liam told me. I went over to help her up but she was sitting on the ground laughing like crazy she had a big smile on her face and was saying let’s do that again it was fun, but of course I knew that Liam wouldn’t allow it so I sadly had to tell her no.
