More Appologies

I somehow fell asleep on the couch in the living room, I sat up and I noticed that there was a blanket on me and I looked around and remembered that I was at Luke’s house because of what happened last night. I laid back down and looked at the celling and thought about how I was going to fix this problem, I know Zayn is pretty upset about the whole thing and that he might give me a lecture when I get back home. I heard someone coming so I quickly sat up on the couch, the person became visible and I saw that it was McKenna. “You stayed here with me?” I asked her “Well ya I have no other way home, plus I couldn’t leave you here by yourself,” she said with a big smile, she jumped on the couch, crossed her legs, and faced me so we could talk some more. “So did your mom tell you what time she was coming over to bring you some stuff?” “No I think she is going to call me and tell me when she’s close,” I told her “I feel really bad for running away like that but what was I supposed to do if I stayed I would have been killed,” I said while hugging my knees. I never felt so scared in my life, I felt my phone vibrate and I looked at it “It’s my mom,” I answered the phone and held McKenna’s hand as I talked.

*I’m almost there are you ok is McKenna there with you?*

“Ya everything is fine and yes McKenna is here she stayed with me,”

*Ok well I’m almost there so be ready for me to give you some stuff*

“Ok mom thanks for understanding,”

*It’s ok I know that you had to leave for a while*

“Ok”

*I packed you close for two days that should be long enough*

“Ok mom thanks,”

We ended the conversation and McKenna and I kept talking, the guys finally woke up Ashton waked in with Calum and then Michael and Luke came in next. Luke looked in my direction and gave a big smile he started to walk towards me, I had no idea what to do so I just sat there he came over and bent down and kissed the top of my head. “Morning, how did you sleep?” he asked me “Oh, um fine,” I said while smiling, he sat down next to me but right when he sat down the doorbell rang. “Who could that be?” Calum said while heading for the door, we heard him open it and my mom came in I got up and smiled and hugged her, she handed me my bag and kissed my forehead. “Oh Shelby there is someone who came with me who wants to apologize,” she said I followed her and saw Zayn sitting in the passenger seat. I took a deep breath and walked over to the car. He stepped out and leaned against the car, he kept his face down not wanting to meet my eyes, “Look I…I don’t…don’t know what we…I was thinking and I just wanted to…what I’m trying to say is…” I cut him off and hugged him I knew that he wasn’t good at apologizing. “I’m sorry that I ran and made you worry I was just scared and I didn’t know what to do and I feel really bad for doing it,” I said while hugging Zayn, I guess that I caught him by surprise because his arms were at his side but he slowly brought up his arms to hug me back. Where he was so tall my face was on his chest and my quiet sobs were muzzled by his shirt, I felt his hug get tighter and I felt like crying some more but I really didn’t want to.

“It’s ok, I’m sorry that I chased you out of the house, that was a stupid move that I made and I won’t let that happen again,” he said while holding me, “Oh and by the way you left this at the house,” he said while letting go of the hug and reached into his pocket. He pulled out my silver necklace and told me to turn around so he could put it on for me. “Thanks I was wondering where it went,” I said while smiling, we finally finished our apologies and my mom and Zayn left the house. I walked back inside where McKenna, Michael, Ashton, Calum, and Luke were waiting for me I sat down thinking about what Zayn said and how he felt bad I knew it was good that we apologized to each other and that he was calm but I knew he was still mad about everything. “Hey are you ok? I mean did you and Zayn talk?” McKenna asked me, “Ya we apologized about everything and I’ll go back home in two days so I’m guessing I’ll go home tomorrow,” I said. I looked around to see Luke but for some reason he was nowhere to be found, I found Ashton in the living room playing video games while Calum was chilling on the couch. “Hey guys have you seen Luke anywhere I need to talk to him,” I said Ashton wasn’t paying any attention but Calum looked up at me and then looked back at the video game that Ashton was playing. “Last time I saw him he was outside on the deck,” he said while pointing the way, “Thanks Calum,” I said as I headed out of the room I could hear Ashton say What did she say? I did a little chuckle and headed out to the deck.

I went to the deck and found Luke leaning over the railing I opened the door and walked over to where he was standing and leaned on the railing as well, “Hey…um my mom was um wondering if I could stay here till tomorrow…um its ok with you,” I said not looking at him. “Ya its fine, you don’t have to ask Shelby I really don’t mind,” I heard him say, I could feel his gaze on me but I didn’t want to meet it I was still thinking about what happened and also if Luke would treat me differently because I know One Direction. I felt his hand touch mine and I immediately got butterflies in my stomach, it seemed that every time that he was around me or touched me I was so nervous, I felt him hold my hand and I looked up at him our eyes locked and there was no way that I could escape his beautiful blue eyes. He picked up his hand from the railing and cupped my face, I felt my cheeks getting warm and Luke started to chuckle at me blushing. I pulled away and kept blushing, “You always seem to be blushing when I’m around,” he said while laughing a little. “I’m sorry it’s…um…it’s just…um…” I started to say but he cut me off “It’s ok I like it when you blush,” he said as he placed his forehead on mine. He was so close to me I had no idea what to do in my head I was freaking out but I felt so calm, he kissed my nose and then looked at me “I wanted to tell you something, ever since I met you I…” he started to say but we heard a noise coming from house. “Every time,” Luke said while swinging his arms in the air, we walked inside and saw McKenna, Michael, Ashton, and Calum on the couch watching the news, “Shelby, you need to see this,” McKenna said with a shocked look on her face.
