I took her into my room and opened my closet to find her a shirt to wear, she sat down on my bed while I looked. It took me a while but I finally found one, it was a big black t shirt that I had “Sorry if it’s too big,” I said while handing her the shirt “No its fine most of my shirts are too big on me,” she said with a big smile on her face she took the shirt and asked if there was a bathroom where she could change and I showed her where it was. I stood outside the bathroom while she was changing, when she finally came out she looked amazing in my shirt the sleeves went down to her elbows and he bottom of the shirt went down to her hips. We went back into the living room and watched McKenna and Michael play videogames I sat down and pulled Shelby on my lap again and placed my arm around her so she wouldn’t fall off my lap. I noticed that she was thinking about something but I knew she would never tell me but I wanted to know I wanted to help her in any way that I could but I didn’t know how.

It was getting late and Shelby said that she needed to get home to help her mom out, I told her goodbye and her and McKenna left together. She told me that she would text me when she got home but I didn’t know how long that would take, I looked at Michael who had been on his phone ever since the girls left he was probably talking to McKenna I swear those two are inseparable. I thought to myself but it was true they were always together and they were always talking to each other, a part of me wanted that to be me and Shelby but I don’t know if she even likes me. I mean she seems happy every time we’re together but I’m really not sure, I needed some help so I asked Michael if I could text McKenna on some advice on Shelby. He gave me her number and I started to text her,

Hey, it’s Luke

*Oh hey what’s wrong Michael said you need to talk to me*

Ya um how do I know if Shelby likes me?

*Well I mean she’s always happy when she is talking to you*

Ya but it feels like she’s pushing me away like she doesn’t want to be in a relationship

*Wait you want to date her this is so exciting I knew I could get you two together*

Well ya but…

*She’s probably just scared to be in a relationship I mean she lost her dad you have to understand that she’s scared*

Ya I guess so

*Don’t worry she will warm up to you, you just need to take it slow*

Ok thanks McKenna

*No problem happy to help*

We ended the conversation and it thought about what McKenna said I probably should give Shelby some time, I mean we still don’t know that much about each other. “Hey has she text you yet?” I heard Ashton say I turned around and I noticed him and Calum were acting very suspicious “No I was talking to McKenna,” I said while showing them my phone. “Oh so you’re having problems with her?” Calum asked “Ya sort of like that,” I said “Hey Luke she left her shirt here,” Michael said from the living room. We walked in and I picked up her tank top and the white sweater that went with it I took my phone and called her.

*Ring…Ring…Ri…Hello?*

 “Ya hey Shelby you left you-“

 *Who is this?*
