Elsa

The night before, Elsa had drifted off to sleep listening to Jack's strangely defiant words of flowers thriving in the snow. Now, walking downstairs to the dining room for breakfast, she still had the tingly feeling of Jack's lips pressed against hers. When she reached the long dining table, she found Anna sitting at the head of it, eating out of a bowl of porridge. Anna looked up at her with big innocent eyes.

"Where have you been? I haven't been able to find you in the last day and a half. I wanted to ask you how it went with the Duke." Elsa sat down with a sigh.

"Oh, you mean Adam? I'm afraid we simply weren't compatible, Anna. Now will you give up this matchmaking?" At first Anna looked disappointed, but she perked up almost immediately.

"All right, I suppose I can understand if my sister wants to be alone." She sighs dramatically, "but you can't blame me for trying, right? Although, I did meet this nice prince..." Now it was Elsa's turn to give an exasperated sigh. "I'm just kidding!" giggled Anna. Still, Elsa couldn't help thinking about the polite but strongly worded letter addressed to Duke Adam, telling him just how uninterested she was in him. She studied her porridge as she contemplated how she would tell Anna about Jack, and how she would convince her that he was real. Elsa decided she should go talk to Jack himself about it. He was probably patrolling the grounds, freezing the guards' boots to the ground as a joke. She started to get up and leave, but Anna raised her hand to stop her. "Where are you going? I thought we could spend some time together. Lately I've hardly even seen you. It's like before The Great Freezing all over again." Elsa thought for a moment. She didn't want to leave Anna alone again, but it was too dangerous with Pitch on the loose. Then those pleading eyes gave her an idea.

"You're right. I think we have time for a little fun before I have to meet with the Council." Elsa seized Anna's hand and practically dragged her outside.

"Jack?" Elsa started to search for Frosty Boy. Anna gave her a quizzical look, but Elsa ignored it. Before they had even passed the wall, Jack took Elsa by surprise and swung down from a tree branch in front of her so he was facing her upside-down Spiderman-style.

You called?" Jack smirked, but it disappeared when he noticed Anna. "And Anna. Can she see me?" he inquired. Elsa shook her head. Anna stared at her sister in disbelief, who was nodding and talking to air.

"Elsa, what's going on?" Anna looked worried.

"Anna, meet Jack Frost, Jack Frost, meet Anna." Elsa gestured to the both of them.

She bit her lip as she watched Anna exchange glances with her and the empty space she was gesturing to. "Anna, I know that you are going to think that I'm crazy, but just watch." Elsa tried to persuade her sister before facing Jack.

"Could you conjure up a little magic?" She whispered to Jack. He seemed to know exactly what she was thinking. "Got it." Elsa directed Anna's attention to the trunk of the tree in front of them. Suddenly frost spread across a wide bark-covered section. Anna gave Elsa a questioning look. But Elsa just shrugged her shoulders and said,

"I'm not doing it." Meanwhile, an outline was being traced on the frost by an invisible finger. The outline of a tiny dancer, dressed in a skirt of ice and frost. Suddenly she came to life, rising from the trunk of the tree and twirling through the air. Anna appeared mesmerized by its beauty. After a double pirouette and a final bow, the ballerina evaporated into snow. Anna stood there before squinting at the tree and said softly, "Jack Frost!" Her blue eyes widened as the silvery-haired boy clad in blue appeared above her. He grinned awkwardly, saying,

"Uh, hi." Anna faced Elsa. "Where did he come from?" Elsa gave her a sad smile.

"Well, he's almost always been there. He left for a while, but he's found me again. And I don't know much about love, but I think I've found it." When she heard this Anna stayed quiet for a split-second before her face split into a grin and she started bouncing up and down.

"Awwwwww! I knew you were hiding something! I just didn't expect it be such a handsome man," She whispered the last part and they both giggled. "Anyway," Anna addressed Jack, "nice to meet you, Jack Frost."
