Jack
"It's a snow globe with special powers like the one North uses for transport, but slightly different." Tooth was explaining when she paused. "You know, North locked this snow globe away because he thought it was too dangerous. That means we have to keep this from the others and..."
"...Ooh, we've got to be sneaky, huh? Don't worry, that's my specialty!" Jack interjected. Tooth giggled. "Tooth, why are you doing this? Risking danger, lying to your friends, for what might turn out to be a lost cause."
Tooth thought for a moment. "Because I've been where you've been."
Jack wasn't sure what to say to that. He decided not to say anything, because she didn't look like she wanted to talk about her past. Jack had never really thought about who the Guardians were before they were, well...Guardians. Had they been born with powers, like him? Jack got rid of these thoughts with a shake of his head and got back to the present situation.
"So, this snow globe: what kind of powers does it possess anyway?"
Tooth answered in a low voice, "it can travel back in time." At this, Jack's eyes widened in surprise. He wouldn't have believed it if he hadn't been standing in front of the Tooth Fairy in Santa Clause's factory. "But only for a limited time," Tooth continued, "which means that I can only send you to her world for a week. As long as you know the approximate time and place." Jack remembered the hilly landscape of Arendelle, with its cheerful fairytale-like villagers and stony castle walls. All the memories started to come back to him as he and Tooth made their way to North's secret vault (apparently North had a secret vault, and Jack didn't know about it, but then that was the point of the "secret" part).
They reached a dark hallway with tapestries of different ethnic versions of Santa Clause hanging on the walls. Tooth had told Jack to stay quiet the whole way, so Jack just watched as she took out the large golden key she had stolen from North. He still didn't know how she had managed to do that, but he had a feeling that
her fairies had had something to do with it. He also didn't like stealing from North, but he needed to do this. Once the key had been inserted into the hidden lock behind a wooden board, it glowed and opened up. Inside the compartment, behind a glowing force field was a round, glass orb with a tiny village inside: a snow globe. It didn't look very significant, but Jack had learned not to judge a book by its cover.
"Don't worry, only Guardians can pierce the force field, so we're safe."
"Safe from what, exactly?" asked Jack.
Tooth answered with, "you don't want to know." Then she told him to simply think about the place and time he wanted to visit. Jack closed his eyes and thought that he could smell the fresh scents of grass and snow while Tooth rolled the snow globe along the ground, making a shimmering gold doorway appear out of nowhere. Jack was cautiously walking into the doorway when Tooth told him, "I'll try to come up with a cover story to explain your disappearance to the others. Remember: Use the snow globe to come back in exactly one week. I'm pretty sure there's no time difference there."
Jack stopped in his tracks. "Wait, you're pretty sure?" Tooth simply urged him on and wished him good luck, waving goodbye. She was the last thing he saw before there was a flash and Jack was now standing outside cobblestone castle walls in a snowy kingdom. He stooped to pick up the snow globe and put it in his pocket before looking around. It was just as he remembered it: bustling and cheerful. Now I just need to find her in all these crowds, thought Jack. Luckily she's a queen, and where there's a castle, there's a queen! He took hold of his trusty wooden staff and willed the icy wind to lift him off his feet. This never got old. He could feel the breeze rush through his hair, rejuvenating him as it always did. He was having such a fun time flying over the castle courtyard that he almost didn't see her.
She was just like Jack remembered her, even if he had only seen her as a woman once. Still, with her dainty hands folded in her lap and her messy platinum blonde braid over one shoulder, there was no mistaking Elsa. He could still recall watching her form the flowing blue dress she now wore, and it didn't seem to have changed. She still sat with the posture of a princess and hid all of her emotions behind an expressionless face. Jack smiled as he remembered how he had teased her as a child about how uptight she was. Although now she looked slightly irritated, sitting across from some stuck-up looking guy in a suit. He made his way over to the table, thinking that nobody would notice him, being invisible and all. And even though Rich Guy seemed to look straight through him, Elsa glanced over and locked eyes with him.
"Excuse me," she addressed, "but who are you and what are you doing here?"
