Chapter 1: In the middle of the night

David's pov:

''It was in the middle of the night and i was fast assleep when i suddenly heard my phone rang ''Although i felt quite sleepy i decided to pick my phone up anyway''u could hear in my voice that i still felt quite sleepy''

a sleepy yawning David: '' Hello this is David''

A crying, panicky Simon:''oh my god David...''

David's pov: 

 As soon as i heard it was my Simon i was wide awake. It felt  absolutely gutwrenching to hear him cry like this and why was he crying? I had to find out as soon as possible i thought.

End of David's pov

Further conversation:

A very worried David:''Hey Simon darling... what's wrong? why are you crying?''

A stammering, crying Simon:''Eric....''

Simon's pov:

i was so overwhelmed by my emotions that i could only stammer and cry. Hearing David's sweet voice only made it worse.

End of Simon's pov  

David's pov: 

Simon was talking  so fast that i couldn't understand a word he was saying. So i tried to calm him down.

End of David's pov 

A calm David:Simon darling.... please try to calm down. I can't understand a word you're saying! take your time sweetheart i'm here for you okay? 

David silently tries to swallow the upcoming emotional lump  he feels in his throat.  

A still calm David:''now try again sweetheart''

A crying,still stammering Simon: Eric... went... missing...

A shocked, panicky David: oh my god! stay right where you are darling i'll come over right now!

An almost whispering, crying Simon:okay...

A still shocked, panicky David: Stay strong darling! i love you.... i'll see you in a bit.. bye sweetie!

 A still crying, sighing  Simon: Thanks David i love you too... see you in a bit bye darling!

David and Simon both hang up their phone

David's pov: 

  i hung up my phone and raced out of bed, got dressed as soon as possible and raced down the stairs to  go to my car. On my way out i grabbed some snacks with me for on the road. Luckily Bert was fast assleep i always hate  to wake him up when it's not necessary. Someone needed to look after him but i decided to think about that when i was on the road. First things first:my Simon really needs me right now! i checked all my windows, doors and locks, softly gave Bert a goodbye kiss on his litlle head and quickly touched his paw and left my house. I was in such a hurry to get to my darling Simon that i almost tripped on my doorstep.

End of David's pov 

David  rushes to his car and then finally calms down a bit

Simon's pov:

  it's so sweet of David to come over. but what else could i expect from my sweet darling David. Simon sighs
