Chapter 2:Finally/Still not on the road

David's pov:

I finally sat in my car, but i haven't left yet because my head and heart were such a mess that it probably wasn't save to drive yet.  If i would start driving now i would cause an accident i'm sure of that. So instead i grabbed my phone and decided to call Matt and Alesha to ask them if they wanted to take care of Bert for me while i was away.  I  started browsing through my contacts and suddenly  i started to tear up because the first contact i stumbled upon was my Simon. God how i love him! I silently smiled through my tears. Just the way he was and is. I need that in my life you know?  I'm a very   vulnerable man and i need a strong force to keep me steady. And Simon is my strong force and he always will be.  One look at my phone snapped me right out of my dreamy thoughts. I needed to arrange a petsitter for my Bert. So i started to browse for Alesha's name but then i suddenly realized that she probably would want to be with Simon too. Just like Amanda so i decided to call Matt instead.  I swallowed my tears and called Matt.

End of David's pov

David calls Matt

David suddenly hears Matt's voice

A doubting Matt:Hello?

David:oh i'm sorry... Hey Matt, can i ask you something?

Matt:Sure!

David:Could you watch Bert for me ?

Matt:Sure! aren't you home?

David: i'll be leaving soon, in fact i'm sitting in my car right now. But i'm not driving yet

A curious Matt:where are you heading?

An emotional David:to Simon' s house. He needs me right now.

Matt:why? to have a romantic night together? 

David silently shakes his head

David: no shut up! i'm sorry i mean no...  it's quite a serious matter. His son Eric went missing

Matt:oh my god that's terrible! give him my best wishes okay?

David:Thanks Matt i will

Matt:and ofcourse i'll watch Bert for you. Could you wait for me? you need to let me  in you know?

David:Sure i understand Thanks Matt!

A joking Matt: you're welcome Emily (Little Britain referrence)

A laughing David:thanks again Florence my dear  (Little Britain referrence)

David and Matt both hang up their phone at the same time

David's pov: 

The conversation with Matt calmed me down enough to call Simon to explain why i would be a bit late and then drive up to his house. The house of my beautifull strong  Simon. Stop daydreaming! I firmly said to myself. I grabbed my phone again, Took a couple of very deep breaths and called Simon.

End of David's pov 

 David calls Simon

Simon's pov:

I just sat there in my chair. Thinking of my son Eric and how i wished he was here right now but, sadly he isn't. Nobody knew where he was. Even Lauren doesn't know.... I was still waiting for David when suddenly the doorbell rang. I stood up out of my chair,  silently smiled and muttered: he's faster than i thought while i was walking to the door. But when i opend the door it wasn't my David who stood in front of me but it was Amanda....

i tought  it might be exciting to end this chapter with a sort of a cliffhanger, so here it is :)

this was my first attempt to write bits that contain #Simanda fanfic. so i 'm sorry if it isn't to great. I'll continue the #Simanda fanfic bits  in chapter 3. I'm ll think i'll start the chapter with it. but i'm not sure yet so stay tuned for chapter 3 and be suprised :)
