Chapter 8: Is there still hope? / troubles and texts

Alesha's POV:

While i was still waiting for Amanda to react to the last thing that i had said, i just hoped that she would fall for my fake act to try and sound genuinely concerned about Simon.

Because if she didn't or wouldn't fall for it i would probably have to confess my true feelings to her sooner than my heart was ready for it.

"Are you still there Amanda?" I asked when she still had not said anything after a while.

"Yeah i am sorry Alesha.. "
"I'm just.." Amanda sniffled softly.

"Hey sssh it's okay don't be sorry." I softly said in an attempt to comfort Amanda.

"But you're just what  babe?" I asked before  i suddenly realised that i just had called Amanda  babe.

Luckily Amanda  couldn't  see through the phone how much i was blushing right now with embarrasement and a bit of excitement.

I just hoped that she had not heard that i called her babe.

End of Alesha's  POV

Amanda's POV / Amanda's further POV:

I was just about to answer Alesha's  question when i suddenly heard that she called me babe.

Because i wasn't  really sure if i had heard it right i just decided  to ask Alesha if she had called me babe.

"Alesha did you just call me babe?"

I asked while i desperately tried to wipe away my tears that just kept streaming down my face because of what had happened to Simon the man that i love so dearly.

And who luckily loves me back although he's  still in a relationship with oh god i can even hardly say her name without gagging: Lauren.

I don't hate Lauren though but i do hate the fact that she is in a relationship with Simon.

My Simon who's now probably fighting for his life in the back of an ambulance on his / it's way to the hospital.

And Lauren is probably sitting next to him by his side silently praying and wanting Simon to be alive just as much as i want him to be alive .

But there's one thing that i almost want even more than for Simon to be okay or alive.

I just want him to be with me as my boy boyfriend or partner or whatever you want to call it..

Suddenly i got snapped out of my thoughts by Alesha who had finally decided to answer my question.

''Uhm.. Yes Amanda i called you babe , why are you asking that?'' Alesha nervously said / asked.

But just when i was about to answer Alesha's question i got a shocking text from David that i was able to check out because i had my phone in speaker / handsfreemode.

I looked in horror at my phonescreen because the text read:

David's text:

Oh god Amanda the paramedics are fearing for Simon's life!

Amanda's further POV:

My hands immidiately started shaking after i had read the text and all i could say was: ''Uhm Alesha i'm sorry wifey but i can't talk to you right now bye.'' I said before i quickly ended the call and decided to call David right away.

End of Amanda's POV / Amanda's further POV

David's POV:

''Please don't let my Simon die!'' I repeatedly cried out in panick while i looked at the portable heartmonitor that Simon was attached too. 

Simon's heartrate was dropping and increasing at / in an incredibly fast pace and while i almost constantly freaked out , Simon stayed incredibly calm like he was foreshadowing something.

Luckily he was awake when my phone suddenly rang.

I immidiately answered the call without  checking the caller's ID because knew that it probably was Am a nda who was calling me because i had texted her earlier.

And i was right.

It was Amanda who was calling me .
And she immidiately broke into sobs when she heard the backgroundnoises of the ambulance.

''Hey Amanda... '' i said

''Hi David..''Amanda sadly whispered back.

''Is it okay if i put you on speakerphone?'' I softly asked.

''Yes..'' she sniffled 

And i immidiately putted Amanda onto speakerphone so that Simon could hear her and maybe talk to her if he wanted to ofcourse.

''Hey Mandy ssh it's okay i'll be fine.'' Simon said in a soothing tone of voice and my heart immidiately got wings again when i heard Simon's now oh so soft and weak but also still deep and rich voice. 

I heard Amanda saying i love you to Simon and my hopes got sparked when Simon immidiately didn't say i love you back to Amanda

Is there still hope for me?

Does Simon love me back or are there troubles in Simon's and Amanda's relationship?

Those are the questions that i soon hope to get an answer to / too.
