~Chen’s POV~

“Don’t worry Mr. Kim. Okay lang siya. She just need some rest and let her wounds heal. Pwede ka na pumasok sa loob, she’s waiting.” Sagot nung Doctor. Yumuko ako at nagpasalamat. Agad agad akong pumasok sa kwarto niya at nakita ko siyang nakahiga, tulala.

 

“Louise…?” tawag ko sa pangalan niya. Napatingin siya sakin.

 

“Chen…..” she weakly said. Sobrang hina ng boses niya. Buti nalang at tahimik, narinig ko siya.

 

“You feeling better now?” tanong ko at lumapit sa kanya. Tumango lang siya. Umupo ako sa upuan sa tabi ng kama niya.

 

There was a brief silence until she talked.

 

“Where’s…. kyungsoo…” tanong niya.

 

I’m right here in front of you, but why are you looking for somebody else?

 

“He saved me, didn’t he?” tanong niya ulit at medyo ngumiti.

 

No, he didn’t Louise.

 

I did.

 

I was the one.

 

“Yeah.. He did.”

 

What am I saying right now?

 

Oh what a huge lie this is.

 

“Talaga…? Nasaan siya ngayon…?” she asked with glimmering eyes.

 

Hinaplos ko yung buhok niya at ngumiti sa kanya.

 

“He just went somewhere. Pinaubaya ka niya sakin.” Sagot ko.

 

There it is, the silence yet again.

 

Aish..

 

Annoying.

 

“Sorry.”

 

I looked at her.

 

Seryoso yung itsura niya.

 

“What for?” tanong ko.

 

She bit her lower lip.

 

“For being such a btch.”

 

Really now?

 

“You ain’t.”

 

I shouldn’t have said that.

 

Nung nagparinig ako, masyado kasi akong nakain ng pride ko eh.
