Things that Phillip does that annoys Anne:
1. He bites his fingernails. When he does this, it shows that he is worried, and it is mostly when he shouldn't be worried. Anne tries ON END to try and get him to stop, but Phillip tells her that he'll try to stop one day; but he never does of course.2. He acts like he doesn't care what people think of him. This should really be a good thing, but when someone says, "Phillip, maybe a silver and red costume would look cool, too," they are not being rude, only trying to be help you and be nice. That being said, there is no reason for him to snap back, "I think red and gold works just fine," angrily. Anne tells him sometimes he should care about other people's input.
3. How he says he never wants to talk to his parents again. Although they were very mean to Anne, and did things that are inexcusable, Anne thinks it would be nice if they became on good terms again. The way she thinks it, if they have kids, she wants them to have nice grandparents.
4. The way Phillip played with Barnum's daughters, Caroline and Helen, scared Anne. Whenever they were round Barnum's, Phillip would grab both little girls by the waist and fling them around. It scared the death out of Anne, and Phillip kept on doing it even when Anne told him to stop. This was silly really, since Anne was a trapeze artist.
5. Phillip always worried about Anne on her trapeze in return. As many times as she told Phillip she was safe up there, Phillip just stressed, and stressed and stressed.
Things Anne does that annoys Phillip:
1. She cares what people think about her. The slightest, "Ew, your skin is disgusting!" would move Anne to tears. The way Phillip saw it, was that it shouldn't matter what people say, only what you think is right. She said she tried to not care as much, but every time she would cry and Phillip would have to help her snap out of it.2. The way she though he had Post Trauma Anxiety. There would be a fire lit in a house, and Anne would glance at Phillip worriedly. Phillip told her he was fine, and he could gaze at a fire for ten hours straight without a tear being moved to his eye, but she didn't seem to listen.
3. Phillip hated how she was so care free on her trapeze and hoops. "Maybe I should try this deadly trick even though I've never done it before," she would say, and laugh and try it. Phillip tried to persuade her to be careful, but she brushed it off and continued to go crazy up in the air.
4. The way Anne would chat about all his flaws to her friend, Charity Barnum (Barnum's wife). "Did you know Phillip left all his socks out yesterday, can you believe it?" She would ask Charity, and back would come a reply that sounded like, "Oh gosh, Phineas does the exact same thing!" However, Phillip was not alone on his one and was a pet peeve he shared with Barnum.
5. Anne was rarely ill, but when she was, she acted like she wasn't. She would be throwing up and with a high temperature and be insistent she was okay, even when she certainly wasn't. Phillip would try to get her stay in bed, but it never worked.
I thought I might do thisss, since I've been wanting to do this ever since I started the book😂 I hope you enjoy and don't mind there isn't really a story 😊 please vote & follow!
