Phillip POV.
There was something about the way Anne was moving in today's morning show that turned me on. I mean, she always looked nice while doing it but not...well, anyway, maybe it was the eye contact.
That's why I HAD to give Anne's behind a slap when she walked out because it was needed, and then a kiss on the cheek. This was all perfectly fine for everyone, apart from W.D obviously.
"Carlyle. Let me talk to you a second." He says to me. I untangle myself from Anne as I stand up from the sofa and walk into my changing room with him behind me.
"Alright, W.D, what's the matter?" I say.
"What's the matter? You know perfectly well! It's ridiculous that a man shows that affection to a woman in public!" He spits out. I laugh, but inside I was quaking. What, W.D's a big man!
"Oh, my friend! What a laugh you are, I'll see you later, then." I say, and walked out simply. Maybe if I hadn't, what did happen 'later then' wouldn't have.
"Is everything okay?" Anne asked me when I sit back down next to her.
"Of course." I replied.
For the rest of the night, we talked and played cards, and laughed a lot, and I ignored W.D. I knew he wanted to beat me up, but my tactic was to stick by Anne, because he wouldn't be able to get me alone, then.
"Showtime! Anne, W.D! Up on the trapeze!" Barnum said. As Anne went up, she bit her lip and giggled- how did this woman have a daughter! I laughed out load to her and waved at Charity which was holding Six-Olivia.
The show all went well, until Anne and I'd duet came along.
While we were doing it, Anne was 100% dancing differently than usual, and you know what I mean. So, behind the audiences back, I grabbed her behind and gave it squeeze! And she loved it, I tell you, until W.D came down from his trapeze!
Everyone looked at him in shock because he sure wasn't meant to be down here. I kept dancing, and when Anne mouthed "why?" to me, I just shrugged. But then W.D planted himself in front of me and started screaming.
"Selfish, ignorant, vulgar white man! Get the heck away from my sister of quality, you disgusting thing..." and the string went on.
The audience was mostly in shock and in disbelief, and there were tons of kids getting led out by their parents.
"Cut! Cut, shows OVER!" I shouted, angry. The music stopped and we started to usher out the remaining audience.
"W.D! You ruin the show...oh my! What has gotten into you!" Barnum shouted, hands in hair.
"He's right, brother, you've gone mad!" Anne said, walking up with our daughter in her hands.
"Oh, oh. He has some jealousy issues, that's all. Excuse him, he's got a couple free screws up there." I snarled, while everyone laughed.
I slapped his back and tilted my head back- what a funny man he was!
"W.D, W.D! I was angry with you, but I forgive you because your my wife's brother." I say.
Okay, I was still fuming but I didn't want to cause arguments, so I let it go.
Later that night, when Anne and I were in bed, she asked me why I forgave him so quickly.
I told her it was because I loved her.Hope you enjoy this :)! sorry for the lack of updates & sorry It was cut short at the end.
I've forgotten the username of the person which gave me the idea but thank you!!!
