Video: You don't have to watch it, it doesn't go with the chapter, I just love iiiitttttttttttt.

Quick AN, skip if you want: I'm back, bishes! No, just kidding. I know I'm the worst at titles, but I wanted to write something, and it's creativity that counts? FYI If I suddenly disappear, don't worry. It's either school or my parents. I don't think they understand you can be both Christian and LGBTQ+ supportive. Okay, so it's really just my dad. My mom honestly doesn't care what me and my sisters do anymore. My dad, however, is just so blind when it comes to us. But yeah. Sorry for the rant, and lets get on with it.

Her small hand reaches for the knob on the edge of the window to open it. Outside, their cries of excitement echo through the air. One more second, and they can drink to their hearts' content.

Her middle finger breezes past the strategically placed powder on the edge. Her lungs expand one more time with a final breathe, as her fingers close around the small white switch.

So much blood for the taking, just inches away.

Skylor crashes into the young girl. Her bright orange hair swishes behind her as they both slam into the floor. Their eyes meet for a second, and Skylor sees something different. Her large eyes are no longer a flat pale brown, and the odd gray rings around her pupils are gone. Instead, her eyes are like Kai's. Warm and rich and full.

And so vibrant.

Nya throws herself into Skylor, ignoring the warm feeling as the blood vessels in her chapped lips are split on impact. The ginger falls to the floor. She doesn't get back up. (If you're wondering, this is possible. The blisters splitting on impact. Not the falling down and not getting up. Although that's also possible.)

"Nya?!" Jay stares at her, mouth open in surprise. Nya whips around. Blood is still dripping down her chin, calling the monsters outside. They're screaming out years worth of pent-up glee. Kill the girl. Kill the traitor. Kill the abomination.

But Jay doesn't hear that. He just hears his neck crack as something that feels like a cannonball barrels into him. What the hell even happened to her?
