AN: I get that Clouse isn't really around at that point, but for consistency I just left it.

"Well it's not black tar heroine or meth cocaine," the girl whispers to herself, arms clasped around her knees, with her head lightly resting on them, "And it doesn't seem to be messing with my head except brief highs, so what is it?"

She stops as the door opens. Ronin enters her small cage, carrying a tray with some food and the familiar plastic bag of pills.

"Sweetheart, I know you like to play hero, but this is ridiculous. I wouldn't have felt as bad giving these things to the others, but you're different. Oh, and Chen has a question."

"Oh yeah? What is it?" She looks up, her cold brown eyes seemingly even emptier than the last time he saw her.

"Do you always accept mysterious drugs?"

"What, these are drugs? I thought they were tictacs!" She smiles and looks back at the floor. "Poor orphan, remember? Being high feels the same no matter who you got it from."

"I'll let him know."

Skylor glares at her father as he sits down next to her.

"Skylor, my dear," he whines, raising a bottle of wine, "a toast to your mother!"

"Ugh. It's breakfast, and besides I'm not even twenty one yet!"

Chen rolls his eyes. Just then Ronin enters.

"Ah, Ronin!" Clouse drawls mercilessly, "since you had such trouble yesterday, can you at least tell us what our little friend said today?"

Everyone's attention focuses on him.

He chuckles nervously. "Actually, yes. And you're gonna like this one. After telling me she thought they were tictacs, she told me being high feels the same no matter who you get it from."

Chen claps his hands wildly as his staff all burst into laughter.

"Tictacs, Master?" Clouse snivels questionly, as the others seem confused except for Kai.

Kai just sighs. "Underworld talk for drugs. Dammit, I knew she was addicted!"

"What?" They all ask at once. Kai just buried his head in his arms as Skylor rubs his back.

"Can everyone PLEASE STOP?!!!" Jay screams loudly. Skylor watches as Cole hugs Jay and Jay bursts into tears. After a second, he emerges and starts again, "So my amazing girlfriend, who's currently trapped, has been addicted to drugs this whole time?!"

Kai nods a bit from Skylor's side. Jay sighs and copies Kai's position.

"Borrrrrrrrrrredom, borrrredom, borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrredom," the noirette has finally gotten up. She hangs from her ankles at the top of the cage. "Where did they go? Now I'm really upset."

A chain rattles from below as she gracefully flips back down from her roost. She lies down and pretends to be asleep as Clouse comes in.

"Ah. Our little Water Samurai Kabuki seems to have let her guard down!"

"Oh, really?" She says, eyes cold again as she flips up, unblinkingly staring into his eyes.

Clouse takes a step back. There's something wrong about her. The drug mixture wasn't supposed to have that effect... was it? All he can feel is pain as his world is ripped apart in one solid kick to the skull.

The girl with the red ponytail watches, boredly, as her father acts like a four year old in a candy shop and irritates her friends. Lloyd is still snuggling with the guy who possessed him, Kai still has his head in his arms, and Jay is still crying. Suddenly she is knocked over from a large blast. Tables go flying and smoke surrounds them to reveal a thin little girl with short black hair and an oversized trench coat over a red dress. Her eyes are harsh in the light. They all stare. Chen laughs.
