I Miss You.

''Alright, spill.'' I demanded.

He sighed, sitting next to me. ''I went to visit my uncle who happens to be an army officer and he didn't like my attitude so he persuaded my mother to let him 'straighten me out' so I 'knew my boundaries' by making me join the army for a year. This may or may not have been after I punched him in the face.'' He rolled his eyes, air quoting.

What?

My first thought , almost like an instinct was to hit him in the face for being so stupid.

''Why didn't you tell me?''

He leaned his head on my shoulder, a frown etching his exquisite features. ''I didn't want you to think differently of me. I mean, I don't give a damn what anyone thinks but you're my best friend and you're opinion actually matters...''

''Why would I think of you any differently?'' I asked.

''You might think of me as violent or.. I don't know okay.'' His shoulders slumped and he looked down ashamed.

I actually smiled and all of a sudden every emotion I had felt since his disappearance had vanished, leaving me something along satisfied that I mattered I guess - in a way, at least.

''Fucking idiot,'' I muttered under my breath. ''My judgement of you isn't going to change, okay? Remember that.''

He lifted his head off my shoulder and his eyes lingered on my face, hovering over my features. A Smug grin overtook his face and I looked confused. ''Why are you here again?'' The way he was saying it made me realise there was some joke I clearly wasn't in on.

''I-''

Before I could finish he added ''the real reason.''

''Because I missed you.'' I mumbled pathetically looking down at my hands.

''Good.'' I narrowed my eyes at him.

''Good?'' I glared at the guy before me. ''Bitch please, I bet you missed me more.''

He sighed, ''wanna know something?'' When I nodded, he proceeded ''I did.'' He smirked and I just blusher feeling slightly flustered for an unknown reason.
