A/N: Hey guys, I'm SO sorry I didn't upload in like 2 weeks. School has been exceptionally busy this month. :(

"Katelyn?"

Travis stood about 2 metres behind her, the wind blowing his white hair into his face. His bright green eyes still glimmered even though he was slightly squinting and his athletic arms were hanging loose by his side.

"Travis."

He slowly walked up to Katelyn, as if she was a scared animal ready to run. Katelyn stiffened as he pulled her into his warm embrace.

"Travis, I-"

"Katelyn, I missed you so much..." Travis whispered, rubbing his hands up and down her back. She felt shivers ran down her spine at his touch.

"How have you been?"

Katelyn bit her bottom lip awkwardly. How was she gonna tell him she was back with Kai without completely shattering his heart?

"Kai and I are together again." Katelyn finally mustered.

Travis opened her eyes but he surprised Katelyn with the least thing she expected him to do. He didn't break down and cry or show any signs of unhappiness but concern was written all over his face.

"Oh my god...Did he hurt you? Please tell me he didn't do anything bad to you..." Travis grabbed her shoulders tightly.

"No, Travis. We're a-"

"We're a couple now."

Katelyn looked pass Travis's shoulder to find her current boyfriend standing behind her ex. Kai's shaggy orange hair covered half of his orange eyes, making him seem more attractive.

Kai slapped Travis's fingers away from Katelyn and Travis flinched, pulling his hand back. He stepped back and watched as Kai snaked his arm around Katelyn's waist.

"You should back off from my girl before things get too messy." Kai snarled.

Travis took a deep breath but said nothing. He had a blank expression on his face and his eyes lost all of it's spark.

"I'm sorry, Travis." Katelyn said before Kai dragged her away from the white-haired boy.

-

Katelyn closed the door of her house and checked if the door was locked before walking over to the couch, taking a seat beside Kai. She gently leaned her head on his shoulder and they sat in silence.

"Katie?"

Katelyn felt slightly uncomfortable that Kai is using the nickname that Travis used to call her but she brushed it away anyway.

"Yea?"

"You know I love you, right?"

She nodded and looked up to see Kai gazing at her admirably. It made her smile brightly.

"Do you love me too?"

Katelyn paused and thought about the question. Does she love him? Somewhere deep in her mind, memories of Kai raping her flashed before her eyes. He was touching her in all the inappropriate places and she was trying to choke back her cries. She subconciously pulled her leg up against her chest wrapped her arms around her body.

Katelyn then decided that she didn't love Kai yet. The trauma he caused her was too much. Maybe in the future, she might regain her feelings for him again. Just maybe.

"No."

"No? You don't love me?"

She shook her head in confirmation, looking at his orange eyes. There were no signs of sadness or sorrow, almost like it's empty.

"Why?"

Katelyn sighed and put her legs back down on the floor.

"Kai, you can't seriously be expecting me to just love you again so easily after what you've done to me, can you? It's not that easy after being mentally traumatised. I'm sorry, hopefully soon." She tried to give him a weak smile but the expression on his face just shouts 'death'. It made Katelyn shudder with fear.

"You didn't enjoy it?"

Katelyn scrunched her nose in confusion.

"Enjoy what?"

Kai glared at her intently.

"No, are you a psycho or what? I was fucking forced into it!"

"Well, guess what?" Kai's glare seemed to have hardened.

Katelyn gulped and prepared for whatever happens next.

"You don't have a choice this time either."

And in a blink of an eye, Kai was grabbing Katelyn's thigh and pushing her down onto the couch. Katelyn screamed and pushed at his chest, thrashing wildly underneath his weight. She screamed louder when she felt his hand travel up her skirt.

Katelyn was growing more and more desperate by the second. In a final attempt, Katelyn used her leg and gave a strong push at his stomach. Kai yelped out in pain, rolling off of her and onto the floor. Katelyn rushed for the door while trying to pull down her skirt.

Unfortunately, Kai was quick and managed to carry her away from the door. Katelyn cried out and reached for the door knob. Kai growled, pulling her away from the door. He carried the crying girl into the master bedroom, throwing her onto the mattress.

Katelyn felt a piercing pain in the back of her head and was knocked out cold almost immediately.

Kai stopped undoing his pants and slowly lifted his head to find an unconscious Katelyn laying on the bed. His eyes widened and he rushed towards her, shaking her shoulders roughly in an attempt to wake her up.

"Katelyn? KATELYN!"

There wasn't any blood so how did she pass out?

Kai frantically dialled 911. After explaining what happened, he sat down on the bed beside Katelyn, wishing she would wake up soon.
