Cyan's POV:
"Are you ok?", I hear a voice and I snap out of my daze. I look at Lyova who looks worried, "Oh. I'm fine. Sorry about that...". He looks at me as if thinking then slaps me on the back.

"Ok, so what should we get Lysander? He basically has everything", he asks me. It's was Friday and we had no classes so we were out deciding on a present for our brother. His birthday was tomorrow and we decided to get his gifts together.

"Maybe a tie? Or a watch?", I proposed. He gave me a look, "He doesn't need anymore ties. Besides he's our brother, not a father". I nodded as we walked through the mall.

"He likes watching soccer and he likes art right?", he asks and I nod. I had considered painting something for him, but I doubt he'd want my art. "Oh! I can get him tickets to the soccer game for his favorite team. Maybe he has a girlfriend", Lyova snickers and I laugh.

"Then What If he doesn't have one?", I reply and he thinks. "Guess we should just get him something else", he says.

Lyova was always so cheerful. Even though I'm always so gloomy, his cheerfulness makes me happy.

We spend the rest of our day walking through the mall trying to decide our gifts and have a quick lunch at a fast food restaurant. In the end I decide to get him a DIY cover cookbook and a cool wineglass that comes with a matching keychain. Lyova decides to get him a pair of sunglasses and a wallet with a soccer pattern on the inside.

After that we leave the mall. Lyova cheerfully walks ahead while I trail behind. I was tired since I couldn't seem to sleep yesterday night after having that strange dream in the afternoon. I should've drank more coffee.

Just as I continue to walk towards the door I suddenly feel someone bump into me and I stagger backwards. I manage to catch my balance and look up to apologize.

"Sorry", I mumble and I see a man wearing all black, with dark black eyes and a tattoo on his neck. For some reason this man scares me to the soul.

He smirks as he looks at me and whispers something before walking away. I stand there stunned and afraid.

"You can't run away", I recall the words he whispered repeatedly in my mind. "Are you ok?", Lyova asks patting my shoulder and I jump.

"What's wrong?", he asks me again and I shake my head, "It's Nothing...". He looks doubtful of my response but follows me as I walk towards the exit.

The train ride back home is crowded but I'm actually grateful that it is so that I don't have to answer whatever question Lyova has to throw at me.

However, the silence is short lived and Lyova questions me on our way home. He says he wants to go to the supermarket and drags me along while he asks me. "Did something happen? Even yesterday, Lysander told me that you looked like you were crying when you came home".

"Nothing happened. I was just tired".

He stops and looks at me.

"Seriously, what happened? Did Mom do-", he asks. He was always very nosy, but I knew it was because he cared about me. We were the equivalent of childhood friends before being brothers.

"Please, Lyo. Just don't ask", I say in a sad whisper. He stops and looks to the ground. "Ok, I'm sorry. Just tell me when you're ready ok?".

We continue to walk and go into the nearby supermarket. I follow him like I used to when we were little and he stops in front of the ice cream section and opens the freezer door.

"You're buying ice cream? In this cold?".

He nods at my question. "Ice Cream is always in season. Here you like strawberry right?", he hands me a strawberry ice cream cup and he grabs a cookies and cream one. "We should get one for Lysander too. Let's see he likes coffee", he cheerfully grabs one and we head to the register.
