Chapter 18: Tears

Lyova's POV:
I walk up the steps to the house and suck in my tears, wipe my tears and pat my hair down over my eyes before walking inside.

Immediately I hear chattering which sounds like Dad and the twins' parents.

"Lyova?", I hear Dad call out to me as I try to walk past the lounge doorway.

I stop.

"You're back early, where's everyone else?".

I don't turn around, "They're still outside. I was tired so I came back. I'm going to my room".

"Oh ok".

I walk swiftly towards the long hallway and when I reach it I run down the hall towards my room. I just really needed to be alone right now.

I turn the corner quickly and immediately fall backwards as I crash into someone.

"Hey! Watch it!... You again! Lyova or something? What the heck are yo-", Lilea starts then stops abruptly as our eyes meet.

I wipe my spilled tears and hide my face in my arm before running past her and heading towards my room.

I unlock the door and step inside before closing it and locking the door again.

I throw my shoes and jacket off, then laid on the bed before throwing the covers over me and concealing myself in the darkness.

I laid there lifeless and tired as my heart beat in my chest and tears fall down my eyes.

I thought back to what I said and did and I let out a devastated gasp.

What have I done?

My heart constricts and throbs painfully and I let out a sob into my blanket.

I use the blanket and pillow to muffle my sobs and cries and I curl my legs to my chest.

The sadness and pain in my heart spreads and I felt like I was being consumed by it.

I let out one last sob and lay there exhausted and sniffling.

I haven't cried like this in so long. Crying over a guy like this, I'm so stupid.

Whimper~.

I look around the room in surprise. What was that?

"Lyova. Why did you run away from our mate? We can't live without him!".

I shiver and listen to a low voice from deep inside my head.

"Who are you?...".

"I'm your wolf. You need to find our mate and tell him everything!".

"What do you mean? I can't like him, you should know!".

Lysander and Dad explained to me about our wolves and how they can communicate with us.

"You know what I'm talking about. Just tell him, he'll understand. Besides you really need to do something about Aisha!".

"Shut up! What do you know!? Just stop... You know I can't do anything, she...", my tears start to fall again and I wipe them away.
