Cyan's POV:
Could I really trust him?

"It's ok...", I reply softly and his face brightens.

"You should talk more, Cyan", he says softly with a sweet smile on his face and it warms my heart for some reason.

I nod somewhat embarrassed and silence returns to the room.

"How do you know my name?...".

"Your friend called you that earlier. Oh, and my name is Vance", he tells me.

I nod and give him a slight smile before the silence returns. The silence gives me time to recall everything that has happened so far and makes me more wary of my situation.

My mind and heart keep telling me to trust them, but the fear prevents me from fully trusting them.

My stomach throbs in pain and I place my hand over it carefully as I remember the blood and the man whose face floated in my mind. The man who kicked me and told me that I could not escape. And that man was associated with these people.

I trembled and clutched my abdomen softly as my fears got the best of me.

I heard Vance say something, but it was incomprehensible.

Maybe...They're working together?...What is going to happen to me?... I'm afraid. What will happen to Lyo? I can sense that the men in black that tried to kidnap me were dangerous and terrifying.

"Cyan! Are you ok? Does your stomach hurt?!", Vance touches my shoulder and I jump. He looks worried and I realize that I was sweating.

I whimper uncontrollably and he tries to comfort me.

His touch is soothing as he rubs my back. He doesn't question me and instead just stays beside me comforting and whispering sweet words to me.

I manage to calm down but, the pain in my stomach fails to subside.

"Does it hurt?", he asks eyeing my wounds. Without thinking I nod but by the time I stop he has already noticed it. I always hid my pain and feelings so that Lyo and Lysander wouldn't find out, so it was strange that I openly admitted it to him without a second thought.

"Dr. Richard prescribed some pain killers, iron tabs and vitamins for you. You can take them after you eat, I'm sure you'll feel better", he shows me some medicine as he smiles.

"Ok...", I reply, yet again, not thinking before I say it but his smile makes me feel glad that I did agree.

After a few more minutes of waiting, Lyova returns with the other blonde guy who I suspect was Vance's twin since they look identical and the other guy, Yuma trailing behind him.

"Cy! We got you some soup and pasta. Don't worry there's no poison in it", Lyova says proudly and I hold back a laugh. Lyo loved watching mysteries and crime shows so he was always observant and saw everything in a crime perspective.

Spinach. Not the best vegetable in the world. I looked at the tray before me and looked around at the others who were eating sandwiches.

"Spinach is apparently a good source of iron", Lyo tells me and I look down at my plate again. The soup has spinach and even the pasta was a creamy spinach pasta. I twirled the spaghetti on my fork and placed it in my mouth and took spoonfuls of the savory and warm soup.

It was better tasting than I expected and I quickly ate some more. After we had finished eating Vance and his twin brother who told me his name was Viktor gave me a glass of water to take my medication which I quickly took, hoping it would ease my pain.
