Chapter 10: Revenge and Torture

Warning: Slight torture in this chapter. Please don't read if you don't like.

Cyan's POV:
I pounced on him and my anger just exploded. I can't let him win! I needed to help Yuma. I just can't take it anymore! I'm so weak, but now I want to be strong.

"Damn it! You bastard shifted!?", the man looks up at me as I growl at him. Yuma is close by staring with wide eyes as I tackle the man.

I feel a strange power controlling me. It's the voice.

I blasted something at him and bit his arm. I just knew that I had to fight back.

"You son of a--!!", he tried to get me off of him and punches my stomach. I whimper but hold on.

I can't stop now. Something tells me I have to keep fighting and stay strong.

BANG!

I let out a loud whimper as I feel a sharp pain in my leg.

"Cyan!", I hear Yuma scream, but I can't reply.

I look up to see the man that had scared the wits out of me in such a short time, Peter.

"I thought you were taking an awful long time, Jared! The hell are you doing!", Peter looks at the man then at me.

He walks over to me then steps on my back.

I whimper again. "Shift back, now!", he screams and continues to step on me. The pain and loss of concentration causes me to change back to human form, shirtless and my pants torn.

"We're leaving Jared!", Peter flings me over his shoulder like luggage and jumps out the window.

The woods run past us as they race through it. I tremble, terrified and in pain.

Viktor...! Vance...! I scream loudly in my head, but it's no use, there's no way they heard me.

They run for a pretty long time almost maybe an hour, before we stop by a lake.

"This should be far enough. We'll take a break", Peter says before he flings me to the ground and I let out a scream.

He crouched down and grabs my chin. His cold hands sends shivers down my spine and I whimper helplessly.

"Do you think you're strong now? Trying to fight back? Do you?", he glared at me.

"I think we should teach you a lesson. You should know your place!", Peter growls loudly and throws me into the lake.

I shiver at the coldness of the water and I panic. I don't know how to swim, and I flailed and thrashed about.

Peter came back towards me and grabbed my head. He pushed my head towards the water and I tried my best to resist, but his strength was to great.

He's trying to drown me!

"Why don't you try fighting back now? Huh? Try it!", Peter holds my head underwater for several minutes and I struggle to get out, but his grip is too strong. I swallow the water and my nose burns at having the water enter it.

I'm starting to lose consciousness and my whole body hurts.

"Peter! You'll kill him! The boss wants him alive!", I hear Jared scream.

I let out another scream as Peter pulls my hair and brings my head out of the water. I begin coughing violently and he thrusts my head back into the water.
