I sat in silence for most of the ride to India. No one spoke at all. I assumed it had something to do with the 'mole' thing everyone had been talking about earlier, though I had no clue what it was about.

When we finally got to India, Artemis and Robin dropped out of the Bio-ship first, the rest of us following behind them.

"All clear," Robin claimed after a moment.

I saw Aqualad's uniform change from red to a dark grey.

"Switch to stealth," he ordered, "and we'll review mission parameters."

"Parameters?" Kid Flash said, switching his uniform to black. "We don't need no stinkin' parameters."

"It's recon," Robin added. "We know what to do."

"Kid, Robin," Aqualad called, trying to stop them.

"The three of us started this team because the Justice League was keeping secrets from us," Robin said to him.

"Or did you forget that like you forgot to tell us about the mole?" Kid Flash asked in an accusing way.

Without another word, Robin and Kid Flash disappeared into the trees.

"Come on," Superboy said suddenly, grabbing onto Miss Martian's arm. "I'll keep you safe." Instead of replying, Miss M ripped her arm away from him and crossed her arms over her chest. Superboy tried to offer an excuse. "I just want to protect you."

"Like Aqualad protected us?" Artemis questioned, pointing her bow at his chest. "I'm not sure your protection or your patronizing is good for our health."

The rest of us watched as the two girls disappeared in the opposite direction of Robin and Kid Flash.

"Why didn't you stop them?" Superboy yelled. "You're supposed to be in charge."

Aqualad stepped forward, beginning to speak, but Superboy held up his hand and jumped away.

"Um, did I miss the part where you actually said what the plan was?" Captain Marvel asked.

Aqualad sighed. I felt bad for him. His team was not getting along at all right now, and that would not be good for this mission. Aqualad turned and headed off into the woods. Captain Marvel and I followed behind him. We walked in silence for a long time before Captain Marvel decided to break it.

"So, (h/n)," he said. "What exactly are your powers? We, uh, never really got to know you before the mission started."

Aqualad glanced over his shoulder at me.

"Indeed," he said. "I must apologize for that. I fear this mission has not been heading in the right direction."

"It's alright," I replied. "My powers are honestly pretty basic. I have super strength and I'm able to fly."

"Cool!" Captain Marvel said. "You're kind of like me!"

I gave him a small smile.

"In some ways, yes."

A silence fell over us again as we walked. When we came to a stop, Captain Marvel knelt down to find tracks in the dirt and bullets lying on the ground.

"Guess this is where Mayor Hills monkey business went down," the Leaguer said. "So at least we've confirmed his story, right?"

When the Atlantean did not respond, I looked at him in concern.

"Aqualad?" I said.

"My apologies, Captain, (h/n)," he said. "I am plagued by doubts." We both looked at him in confusion. "Perhaps I was wrong to withhold."

Suddenly, the ground began to shake and we heard something moving in the trees around us. We looked up and stared when a giant elephant came bursting through the tree line, a look of rage in its eyes. Captain Marvel shot forward and ran into the creature before it could get to us.

The elephant grabbed Captain Marvel by the ankle and threw him into a nearby tree, causing me to wince. A moment later, another elephant came charging forward. One of the creatures tried to step on us, but Aqualad and I jumped out of the way. I slid on the ground and looked up to find one of the elephants chasing Aqualad. My eyes widened slightly when I saw him get thrown to the side.

"Aqualad!" I called.

I quickly got to my feet. As I did, I heard my suit ripping in the back. With a small smirk on my face, I shot into the air.
