Chapter 3

Yato looks at me with an annoyed expression. I guess I just stung him. But I don't care... I want Y/N to be with me.

-Meeting Kofuku and Daikoku-

Y/N P.O.V

When I woke up in the morning. I realise I'm not in my house. 'Where am I?' I thought. I look around the room, then landed on a sleeping figure next to me to see Hiyori. I guess we're having what humans called sleep over.

I got up from the bed and walk over to the night stand. I took out a pen and a paper. Then I start writing a note. I place it on the night stand and teleport away.

I appear in my house and head to the bathroom. Then I start showering. I decide to stay in the tub for a bit. I play around with the water. Hiyori and the others are really nice. But it'll be hard for me to be around them. I'm a half-demon. They're God, Regalia and Half-Phantom. Would our friendship actually work?

Y/N!!!! I heard Hiyori calling for me. I got out of the bathtub and dry myself. I walk over to my room and wear a simple clothes.

Then I focus on Hiyori and teleport. I appear in a place in front of a Shrine. "Y/N! You came!" I turn around to see Hiyori with Yato and Yukine by her side. "Why did you call me here?" I asks her. "Well... You've met the three of us. I want to introduce you to our other friends" she said. "Okay... But why in front of a Shrine? Is your friends another God and a Regalia?" I asks her. "Yupp!!" She said. I just went along with it. For some reason I can enter a sacred place such as a Shrine. Maybe because I have human blood flowing inside me.

Hiyori grabs my hand and lead me inside the Shrine. "Kofuku-San... Daikoku San! Are you home?" Hiyori call out. Then a girl with pink hair and a well-built guy came.

"Kofuku-San! Daikoku-San! I would like you to meet our new friend" Hiyori said, moving aside so the two can see me. Kofuku run forward and hugs me. I stumble back slightly since I was not prepared for it. "She's so cute!!!!" Kofuku yells in a high pitch sound. I wince at her loud voice.

She pulls away from me. "I'm Kofuku! Though Hiyori-Chan have told you that" she said, then she giggles. Then the man walk forward "and I am Daikoku" he said. I look at them and bow a little. "I'm Y/N... It's a pleasure to meet you" I said, with a small smile.

Time-skip

Kofuku invites me to have dinner with them. I just agree with her, since it's rude to refuse an invitation.

So we are sitting around the dining table, eating the dinner Kofuku made for us (I don't know if she can cook, but just go along with it). I'm sitting next to Yukine on my right side and Hiyori on my left.

As we eat dinner, I can feel Yukine's eyes on me from time to time. But each time I would turn my head to look at him, he would instantly look away with a red cheeks. 'What's wrong with him?' I thought. But I just leave it be. He's a teenage boy, so he is probably just shy around a girl. I mean teens is where you have puberty and stuff. I'm glad it's already passed for me. But I'll stay young since I'm a half-demon. I can easily transform my form.

Everyone soon finished eating. Daikoku is taking the dirty dishes to the sink. "Let me help, Daikoku-San" I said. He turns to me and smile "No... It's okay, I got this. You're a guest. You shouldn't be working" he said. I just nod my head in respond and walk to the others.

Everyone is sitting in the dining room. I walk over and take a sit next to Yukine. He blush when he realise I'm sitting there. I turn to him "What's wrong, Yukine-Kun? You're kind of red. Are you okay?" I asks, placing my hand on his forehead. This action makes his face turns more red.

"Ack! Yukine you pervert!!" Yato yelled at him. I turn to Yato, confused. "What do you mean?" I asks. Yato turns to me, then points at Yukine. "Every time he have a dirty thought. I would get stung!" He yelled. "I did not!" Yukine said. I look at them back and forth. I turn to Hiyori for explanation. "God and their Regalia are connected. That's why every emotion their Regalia have would affect their master" She said. "I see..." I said.

"Y/N-Chan" I heard Kofuku said. I turn to her. "What is it, Kofuku-San?" I asks her. She looks at me, with a curious gaze. "Y/N-Chan. Are you a half-phantom like Hiyori-Chan or are you a God or Regalia?" She asks. I look around me to see everyone looking at me. Hiyori is the only one who knows. "Um... I'm neither of them..." I said. She looks at me confused "so you're a normal human?" She asks again. I shook my head "Half-Human" I said. "What's the other half?" Yato asks. "I'm a... Half-Demon" I said, looking away from them. Gasp of shock can be heard in the room.

"What are you doing with a Demon?!" Daikoku said to them. I look down in respond. "But she's really friendly, Daikoku-San. She's not how demon is described" Hiyori said, trying to defend me. "Yeah... There's one time she safes a little girl from getting hit by a truck" Yukine said, looking at me. Daikoku keeps looking at me with his hard stare. I got up with my bangs covering my eyes. "I see that I'm not welcome here... I might as well get going" I said. I turn around to leave. When I reach the door, I turn around and look at Daikoku with tears in my eyes. "I never asked to be born as a half-demon like this... It's a stupid curse my dad has to pay when I was still in my mom's womb... I'm just a victim here" I said. Then I turn fully and run away.

Who am I kidding?! No one would accept me! I'm just a monster... A monster with no place to go. I shouldn't have been born in the first place. But I can't die... If I did, I'll be reborn as a stronger and evil demon.... I don't want that. That's why I decide to live on with it.

Why do I have to go through this?
