Chapter 2

Previously on Chapter 1

I stop and turn to face her. "Can I see you again? I would love to be your friend. You said you've always been alone... You don't have to be anymore" she said. I just stare at her. Then a small smile make its way to my face. "Sure... I'll see you soon. Just call my name. I can hear you from a far" I said to her. She smiles and nod her head. Then I turn around and vanished.

-Bonding with Them-

Hiyori P.O.V

I'm walking on the school hall. When all the sudden Yato and Yukine appear. "Kyaaa!!!" I shriek as I jump in fright. This action cause everyone to send me a weird look. I just look down, embarrassed. They look away and went back to their activity.

I quickly walk away from their sight. Once I got into a place, where no one is around. I turn to Yato and Yukine with an angry look. "Don't scare me like that! I must've look like a crazy chick screaming out of no where" I scold them. They just laugh in respond. A tick mark appear on my head as I smack their heads. "Ouch! Do you really have to do that?" Yato wailed. I roll my eyes in respond. I walk back to the school "don't scare me again!" I said.

They didn't bother me for the rest of the day, probably because they don't want to get smack again. Which I'm glad of. I can do the rest of my activity in peace, without them scaring me. But I do have to apologise for smacking them earlier.

Time-skip

I'm walking around the park with Yato and Yukine. Then I remember the girl I met a few days ago. Y/N.

"Yato... Yukine... Do you want to meet a new friend?" I asks them. They turns to me "new friend? Who?!" Yukine asks, excitedly. Of course he will. "The girl we met a few days ago" I said. "Her?" Yato said, raising an eye-brow. I nod my head in respond. He looks away "no thank you... She's being rude" he said. "She's not being rude! She's not use to be around other people.... She's really friendly" I argue. I turn to Yukine "do you want to?" I asks. Yukine looks away "well... If you really think she's friendly then... It's fine by me" he said. I beam at him and hug him. He blushed in respond.

"Y/N!! Can you come here?" I call out. "Why are you yelling?" Yato said. "She told me to just call her if we want to meet her" I said. "Really? She's just messing with you. You see.... She's really rude. Why do you even bother to meet her anyway" Yato said. I was about to say something, but I was cut off.

"Suit yourself... But I'm not messing around with Hiyori-Chan. I would never make fun of someone as kind as her. But with you? It'll be a whole different story" a voice was heard behind me. I turn around to see Y/N. I grin when I realise she's really here. I turn around fully and hug her. "Y/N-Chan!!!" I cheered. "Hello Hiyori-Chan" she said, giggling. I turn to Yato "see? She's really friendly" I said. Yato rolls his eyes "Yeah... Yeah... Whatever" he said. I glare at him. He raise his hands in surrender manner.

Y/N P.O.V

'The three of them seem really close with one another. I wish I could have someone like that' I thought to myself as I stare at them.

"Well... Y/N-Chan... This is Yato *pointing at the taller guy* this is Yukine *pointing at the boy*, and you already know me" Hiyori said. "I'm Y/N... As Hiyori have mentioned to you two" I said, looking at them.

Out of the corner of my eyes, I notice Yukine keep staring at me. I turn my head to look at back at him. He instantly look away with his red cheeks. I giggle at his cuteness. 'Wait... What?' I thought. Did I really just think he's cute? Oh... Whatever.

Hiyori invited me to join them for the evening. I just nod my head, agreeing with her. Maybe I could finally make friends now.

We went to the amusement park and get on different ride. Then Hiyori told us that she needs to use the bathroom. I just wait outside since I don't need to.

As we wait for Hiyori to get done with her bathroom break. Yato is looking at me with an annoyed expression. This goes on for a good 5 minutes. I sigh and turn my head to look at him. He looks at me with a scowl. "Look... I'm sorry for the way I was acting yesterday. I've always been alone all my life. I just don't know how to act around others. I don't expect you to understand... You have Yukine and Hiyori by your side" I said, looking away. He looks surprise. Then I feel an arm wrap around my shoulder. I turn to see Yato looking down at me. He smiles as he held eye-contact with me "I forgive you... Sorry for not giving you a chance and judge you without actually knowing you" he said. I smile at him "thank you... Yato-San" I said. "Just call me Yato... We're friends now" he said. I didn't notice a pair of amber eyes is staring at us with jealousy.

Yukine P.O.V

Yato is so lucky to be able to stand that close with her. I wish it would be me, instead of him. Didn't Y/N feel disgusted? His hand is really sweaty.

Why am I even bothered this much. 'I couldn't possibly like her, do I?' I thought. I shook my head, then look at them again. Nope... There's no way I could like someone I just met.

But what is this feeling on my chest? Why is my heart aching? That's just means one thing. I'm falling in love with Y/N. That explain why I'm so annoyed.

Yato looks at me with an annoyed expression. I guess I just stung him. But I don't care... I want Y/N to be with me.
