Chapter 7

Previously on Chapter 6

Today is the best day of my life. Turns out, Yukine felt the same way as I do. We're a couple now. I hope it would last long. I don't want to be separated from Yukine... Ever.

-Picnic and Meeting New People-

Y/N P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of knocking on the front door. I got up from my bed and head to see who it was.

I open the door. "Oh! Hey Yukine-Kun" I greet him, with a smile. He smiles softly at me. Then move closer to me, wrapping his arm around my waist as he kiss me softly on my forehead. "Morning baby" he whispers. I blushed in respond. "Morning" I said, kissing his cheek. Now its his turn to blush. 'He's so cute...' I just giggle in respond.

"So... Why are you here?" I asks. "Why? Can't I not see you? Meanie..." He said, with a pout on his lips. I giggle "no... It's just... It's still early. I just want to know, what brings you here so early" I said. "Oh, right! Hiyori is wondering if you'd like to come... We're going for a picnic, there's a cherry blossom tree that is blooming today" he said. My eyes lit up "picnic! Sure! I'd love to go" I said, excitedly. He chuckles "go on and get ready then... You're not planning to go with a pyjamas, are you?" He said, gesturing my sleeping attire. I blush in embarrassment.

"Right... You can come inside and wait there, while I get myself ready..." I said, moving aside so he could enter my house. He smiles at me and walks in. I close the door and walk after him.

I lead him to the living room. "You can wait here while I get ready, 'Kay?" I said. He smiles and nod his head. Then he grabs a magazine and start reading. I smile and turn around. I head towards my room to start my morning routine.

Once I'm done showering, I head to my bedroom and pick out an outfit. I decide to dress casual.

Once I've dressed up, I turn around and walk over to the dressing table which is on the other side of the room. I brush my hair, putting it in a F/H (Fav Hairstyle: ponytail, messy bun, etc or just hair down). Then I take a couple of step backwards, then I look into the mirror to see if I need to add something else for my style.  I smile and shake my head. 'Well.... I think my style is good enough...' I thought to myself. I turn around and left the room.

I head to the living room, where Yukine is still there. He's reading a magazine. The couch is not facing towards me, so he probably didn't realise I've entered the room.

I smirk and crept up behind him. I cover his eyes with my hands. "Guess who~" I cooed. He chuckles and held both of my hands. "Y/N.... I know it's you..." He said. I laugh and wrap my arms around his neck from behind. "Bingo..." I said. He turns his head and kiss my cheek. For some reason, we still haven't kiss each other on the lips. I guess the two of us are feeling a little awkward to do so.

I remove my arms so he could get up. He walks around the couch and wrap his arms around my waist. He smiles at me "let's go, shall we?" He asks. I smile "sure..." I said. He pulls away and held my hand gently. Then we walk out of my house.

We walk hand in hand towards our destination. We walks is in silent. But it's not awkward. It's actually really peaceful.

"We're here..." He said. I turn my head to see a beautiful cherry blossom tree. I stare at the tree in awe. "Wow... This tree is really beautiful..." I said in amazement. "This tree is dying. But me and my friend save it..." He said. I turn to look at him. "Your friend?" I asks. He nods his head "yeah... His name was Suzuha..." He said. My eyebrow furrowed. "Was?" I questions. He look at me with a sad eyes. "He died..." He said. "Oh I'm sorry..." I said. "It's okay... Don't worry... I have moved on... It still hurts, he's my first ever friend... My best-friend" He said. I squeeze his hand, trying to comfort him. He smiles softly at me.

Then we start walking towards the Cherry Blossom tree. From a far, I could see Hiyori and Yato. "Hello guys..." I said, smiling as I reached them. They turns to me and smile "Y/N-Chan!! I'm so happy you can come" Hiyori exclaimed. I smile softly at her "of course! I wouldn't want this invitation to go to waste" I said. She grins at me. Then she starts pulling me to the mat. "Have a seat..." She said. I nod my head and sit down, crossed-legged.

Yukine walks over and take a seat next to me. I smile at him. He smiles back. Hiyori looks at us back and forth. "That's weird... Yukine usually would blush when you smiled at him" She said, looking confused. I turn to look at Yukine, then I look back at Hiyori. "I think it is because he already confessed his feelings to me..." I said. "Really?!" She said in surprise. I smile and nod my head. Then she leans her face really close to mine. "So are you two together now?" She asks, excitedly. I blush and nod my head. She beams and starts squealing. "Oh I ship it! I ship it! My shipping has finally sailed!! It's so cuuuteee!!!" She said, while continue to squeal.

I just look at her with a sweat-dropped. I didn't expect her to react that way. I clear my throat. "Well... Yukine and I are together now... What about you and Yato?" I tease. She blushed deep red, making me laugh. "Ooohhh~ you do have feelings for him.... Awww" I cooed. "Stop it!!" She said. I just laugh "okay okay..." I said. She pouts at me.

I laid on my back. Yukine lift my head and laid in on his lap. He smiles down at me. "I thought it would be more comfortable..." He said. I nod my head "yeah... Thank you..." I said. The wind feels nice, it makes me sleepy. I look up at him. "I hope you don't mind... But I'm kinda sleepy" I said. He smiles "of course I don't mind...." he said. I close my eyes and drift of to sleep, with Yukine's hand caressing my hair softly.
