He took me up to the door and into his house, with Romeo not too far behind. My mouth fell open, I was awed. Their house was huge."Wow!" I gawked, "Your house is...." I stopped, not able to find words.
"Thank you." I heard somewhere in front of me. I looked back. Justin and Romeo were behind me. Justin pointed in front of me. I slowly turned around to see Connor Franta. "It's so good to finally meet you Sara, your books are amazing!" he walked over to me and offered me a hug. We imbraced and once again, like Romeo, it felt like hugging a friend, someone I have known for years. It was strange.
"Thank you, I'm glad you like them." I said some what into his shoulder. We pulled away, "Wait, no!" I exclaimed, "It's good to finally meet you!" I said. Connor was still holding onto my arms. He squeezed them and shook his head. He jestured me to the living room and to a seat on the couch.
"I think we can say feelings are mutual." His smile was so bright. Justin and Romeo did not follow us.
"So, I have been wanting to meet you for a long time, tell you how great your books are!" Connor seemed so generous, I smiled and began to blush.
"Oh, no. I have been wanting to meet you and tell you how great your videos are." He smiled.
"So, you do watch my videos! Did you see the one I did after you released your second book?" he asked seemingly nervous.
"Yeah, I tweeted it out like five times! And put it on my Facebook page and my account. It was exciting!" I think I got a little too excited because Connor laughed!
"That's great!" He exclaimed.
There was a bit of silence. "You know," I started, "you are one of my biggest idols? I wouldn't be where I'm at today if it wasn't for you guys!" Connor smiled a genuine smile.
"Don't say that. You brought yourself here."
"Well, not exactly." I cut him off. "When I first started watching your videos, I was depressed. I didn't care for my books anymore, I left them behind. I completely concidered myself to be a failer and that I would never succeed. But I started watching your guy's videos and saw that you are doing what you love to do and are making it some where. I finally decided, I was going to turn myself around, make myself happy and do what I love to do. I planned to start my YouTube channel, and I finished my first book. After that, all I could do was think of what would happen if I didn't see other people doing what I wanted to do with my life and succeed. I would have thought the way I wanted to live my life was stupid. I would have thought success was not for our family. But, I saw you guys do it and thought I will to and pushed for it and here I am. I say it's all thanks to you guys so I don't seem conceded." Connor smiled.
"Say it." is all he said. I looked confused. He laughed a bit, "Come on, say it. Say the truth, I wont tell anyone." I laughed. I couldn't believe any of this was happening. I must be dreaming, I must!
"Okay, I'm here because of my hard work and dedication to my YouTube channel and my books! I wouldn't have seen it in me though if it weren't for you guys." Connor contemplated what I said, stuck his bottom lip out and shook his head.
"Now, that, I can live with."
"Connor, your an insperation!" He began to blush.
"Oh, come on now." he became a little shy.
"You are one of mine at least. Did you buy the actual book or the audible version?" I questioned.
He smile and ran upstairs. a few seconds later, came running back down, without breaking a sweat. "The actual book," he held up a copy of my first book. he smiled and seperated the first book and the second book, "for both."
"Well, then you should know about the dedication."
"Yes, I do." he calmed, "It was wonderful." I began to blush this time. "To be honest, I loved it and showed to the rest of the guys. They loved it too." my smile grew brighter.
"Hey, I got my wallet, ready to go?" Justin looked around the corner at us with child-like excitement. He was interested in me. I wanted to see why. He glanced down at Connor "You got him to get his books out again?" this was with less excitement, there was more of a pain in his voice.
"You say that with enthusiasm." I winced.
He walked around the couch and grabbed one of the books out of Connor's lap. "He used to go around this house waving this book around," he started waving the book around to mock Connor. "getting all fan girly till it was over." he sat down next to him holding out the book. "That's when he would sit there and sob over the fact he had to wait a few more months to read the next book." Justin started cradling the book like it was a baby. I tried not to laugh.
Connor snatched it out of Justin's hands. "No, I didn't." He glared at him for a while.
"Oh, yeah you did. At first it was 'Oh, I can't wait for Sara to come out with the second book!' Then a week later, 'Ahhah! I need Sara to release the second book all ready!'" I tried so hard not to laugh but could not hold it in. I started laughing so hard that I snorted. I stopped automatically holding my face like I just said something I should not have. I waited for their reaction. They burst into laughter. The little spark of hatered disappeared from Connor and Justin stopped teasing and we all sat there laughing. Every time I snorted they laughed harder. Finally, I felt so ashamed that the laughter was gone.
Justin wiped a tear from his eye, and Connor wiped his forhead. They both looked over at me and became worried. "What's wrong?" they asked in unison.
"Nothing," I looked down at my feet, "I just hate my laugh."
"What do you mean? It's cute. It's actually adorable." Hearing Justin say that made my head shoot up. He looked at me with those caring eyes of his, and I smiled.
"If you say so." I began to blush again. It was flattering to hear him say that, of all people, one of my idols!
"We both say so!" Connor called out. My face turned beat red and became hot. Both!?!
I did not know what to say. "Well," Justin broke the silence, "come and get me when you're done, I'll be in my room." he smiled at me. It seemed different. I must be going crazy.
Connor and I watched as he left. As soon as he was out of ear shot Connor shot around to me, making me jump.
"I'm sorry," He said through laughs, putting his hands on my knees. "I didn't mean to scare you." He seemed to have been having a good time. "I haven't seen Jc that happy sence the beginning of June."
"What do you mean?" I was confused.
"Well," He looked down at his knees and took his hands from mine. "You know about him and Lia right?"
"Oh, right, that. He's been that upset?"
"Yeah, and he seems happy around you. He hadn't picked on me sence then."
"What are you trying to say?" I said curiously.
"Well, all I'm trying to say is, you have made quite an impression on him." He smile a cute side smile.
"What? No, there is no way."
"Sara, come on, can't you tell?" Apparently not. But what can I do, I'm in a good committed relation. "Anyway," he slapped his knees and stood up, "you have a place to be." He put out his hand. He grabbed my hand and helped me off the couch, like I needed it. We walk over to the door.
"It was so nice meeting you, Connor." My face began to hurt because I smiled the hugest smile for a long period of time.
"It was so nice meeting you, Sara." He copied. He pulled me into a huge hug untill we heard footsteps come from the stairs. We let go, it was Justin and Romeo.
