LEXY'S POV

We ran and ran until we were halfway to Bucks house when I stopped them. "Ok what the heck happened??" "We were in the park cuz I got in a fight with Darry and he hit me." Said Ponyboy. "Then some socs came and tried to drown me." "Then I stabbed one of them and they all ran away." Said johnny, he was shaking.

"Hey, hey it's gonna be alright." I said as soothingly as possible. Pony took out a cigarette and lit it up. "Ponyboy stop smoking your gonna get cancer." I glared at him. "Just try it, it will calm your nerves." I took a puff and started coughing. "Ack- this is terrible. Hurry up we gotta go get dally." We ran the rest of the way there.

Johnny knocked on the door to Bucks house. The music was super loud. "Whaddya want?!" He asked clearly annoyed. "We need to see Dally." "He's in the bedroom." He laughed then went to go get him. I felt sick she better not be kissing him they just met. He came back with dally. "Hey what's up guys?" "Dally what are you doin?" I was just sleeping off a fight." " With who?" I said. "Oh, Tim sheperd and Halle. But we're cool now." "Ponyboy are you wet?" He asked as we all came in and went up the stairs. "Dally, come back I'm cold." I heard Halle say as he opened the door. She was wearing his shirt and some sweatpants. "Oh, hi guys!" She stood up.

"Ponyboy, your all wet!" She said "here wear this." She tossed him one of Bucks shirts. Dally handed Johnny a gun. "Don't point it at me it's loaded." I looked at Halle raising my eyebrows asking her a silent question. "We're you really making out with him??" She looked at me rolled her eyes and shook her head "no." That was a relief.

"Look, there's a 3:15 train to  Windrixville, go to Jay mountain and stay in the abandoned church at the top. Buy a week's supply of food before the word gets out then don't as much as stick your noses out the door." Dally said. "I'm going with them." Halle said defiantly. "What? No you can't." Dally said shocked. "We'll give you two some private time." Ponyboy said and led me and Johnny out the door and shut it.

"Why can't I go with them?!" Hallee said.
"Look I don't want you to."
"I'm just a part of this as you are and I'm not leaving my best friend with two boys for Lord know how long!"
"Fine, go then just be careful."
He stepped out of the room. "She's changing one sec."
She stepped out still wearing Dally's shirt and some jeans.
"Well, let's go then." She said and started walking out.
"Halle, wait." Dally said concerned. "Please be careful."
"I will, I promise." She smiled and pecked his cheek. "I'll see you in a week."

We ran and Ponyboy jumped into the train. "Come on." He whispered and pulled me into the train. Then Johnny and Halle. I must have fallen asleep on the train because Ponyboy shook my arm and said. "Hey come on doll, get up we gotta get off." I jumped off the moving train and felt a sharp pain in my ankle. "Ow ow holy crap, that hurts." I looked down at my ankle and it looked terrible it was already swollen and purple.
"Lexy are you ok?" He said concerned "oh that looks nasty." He said picking me up. "Come on let's go find that church and then we will fix it." He said and we all started to walk to the church.
