From the future

chapter 20

I was about halfway home when I saw the mustang follow me. I don't understand why this always happens, that's all they do is jump people. "Damage" I said as it pulled up and some socs got out. I didn't have my blade either, just Dally's ring and the engagement ring. "You guys are out of your territory." I said
"Nah doll. What are you doing walkin by yourself this time of night?"
"What are you doing drunk in Greaser territory?"
"Answer my question!" The guy yelled
"Fine, my boyfriend ditched me today so I'm staying the night at my house."
"Get her guys" one said and they tackled me to the ground
"Well what's your precious boyfriend gonna do now?" He said looking at my hand
"What's that?" He snarled
"An engagement ring?"
"What's your precious fiance gonna do now?!" One said that was sitting by my face.
"Leave me alone!"
The guy that was on top of me was caught off guard when I screamed and spit in his face. I had just enough time to get my hands free and kick him in the groin. He doubled over onto the sidewalk and I ran as fast as I could. I had never run that fast in my life. I leaped up the stairs to my house and locked the door.
"We're gonna get you! We know your alone!" On yelled banging on the door. I ran to the phone and called bucks place.
"Hello?!" Someone yelled over the music
"I need to talk to Dallas."
"He's......... Busy......."
"Listen here you get him to the phone right this second or I will hunt you down and hurt you."
"Ok, fine, jeez" it was silent for a second then I heard Dally drunk saying "I don't want to talk to her."
"Well you have to" another voice said
"Hello?"
"Dally, look I'm sorry. If you want a baby then we can have a baby."
"Really?"
"Yeah. But dally the socs, they tried to jump me just barely there banging on the door. You gotta come and help me."
"Okay, I will be right there."
Then silence. I sat there by the door for what felt like forever. While they still we banging on the door and going around to windows and the back door. Then I heard "hey get outta here!" I ran to the kitchen and got a knife and came out.
"Your outta your territory now." I snarled
They ran to the car and dally threw whatever he could carry at them. Then he ran over to me and I dropped the knife on the ground outside "Dally." I sighed and gave him a hug
"Hi darlin"
"Thank you" I said into his neck
"Come on let's go back home"  he said and carried me all the way to Darry's house.

When we got there it was about 2 or 3 in the morning. "What happened?" Sodapop said sleepily
"Halle got jumped" Dally said putting me down
"Oh are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine"
"Well your bleeding"
"I am?"
"Yeah your arm"
"Oh" I said looking at it but it was just so graze and would be fine
"Okay I'm really tired, it's like 3 in the morning. Come on let's go to bed.
Me and Dally fell asleep on the couch cuddling.
