Alexis Porter's POV
------
As I stared at my small black carry on bag, I heard my mother sigh. My father gripped her shoulders reassuringly, while my 13 year old brother sat in the small leather airport chair.
I stared at my small, but perfect family before me. Mum sent me a half smile while you could see tears forming in her pale blue eyes. My father chuckled at her while Nathan sat with his face in his phone.
"I can't believe my baby girl is leaving to London! How long are you staying there again?" mum asks with hope clear in her eyes. I send her a sad smile. "For a good while, mum. At least two years so I can finish my first semester of Uni." As I spoke the hope faded from her eyes.
"Will you visit holidays?" My brothers familiar deep voice spoke up, as he looked up from the small device in his hands. His deep Australian accent sunk through. Yes, I am Australian as well, but he managed to get my mothers traits. I got more of my fathers.
Amd obviously my fathers only part Australian. Mums full.
I stared at him for a moment, until plopping down in the seat besides him. He looked over at me, as if waiting for a reply. I chuckled before speaking. "Nathan, of course I will come visit. And plus, I thought you said you wouldn't miss me?" I smirked.
He scoffed and rolled his eyes. "People say things." He mumbled while returning to his phone. I snickered at him, while standing back up. I sat on my small black bag, while staring at the crowd of people rushing through the airport.
"Flight 362 will be boarding in 5 minutes."
As I hear the loud last speak on the intercom, I turn and look to my parents. "That's my flight." I speak. My mum rushed over to me, giving me a tight hug.
I chuckled lightly, "Mum, you'll see me again." She looks at me with a sad smile. "When?" She simply questions. I think about it for a moment, while seeing the lady unlocking the plane door.
"Next month is Nathan's birthday, so most likely next month." I answer her simple question. She simply nods before leaning in for another quick hug. I hug her back before turning to my father.
He had a sad smile plastered on his lips. "I love you, Alexis. I know you'll do great out there. Oh, and be sure to give Mason a great hello from us?" He asks, while chuckling slightly. I smile back at him.
"Will do, dad. I love you too." I lean in for a hug, as he hugged me back like it was just a simple daily hug we have every day before I went to work. My dad has always been the less sensitive one. Mum had it bad.
Once I pull away from the hug, I turn to a somewhat sad little brother. He was looking at his feet, while biting his lip. I crouched down to his height, which was sadly only a few inches shorter than myself.
"Bye Nathan. I'll miss you." I simply state, while giving him a great big hug. He eventually hugged me back just as tight. "Love you, Al." He called me by the nickname that I dreaded hearing. "Love you too, Nate." I teased while carrying my small bit of luggage that I can bring on the plane.
"Flight 362, now boarding."
As I walked towards the line of people, I could here my mothers sobbing. I didn't bother turning back, knowing I'd regret this decision if I saw my family sadly bidding me goodbye.
As I waited in line, it eventually was my turn. I handed the mid aged lady my ticket. She thanked me kindly, as I slowly made my way onto the plane. Now all I have to do is search for my seat.
I saw many people already in their seats, as I continued looking for mine.
I soon found it near the back of the plane. I was sitting nearest to the window, with an older woman besides me. She looked stressed, so she closed her eyes and leaned back in the surprisingly comfortable chair.
I clicked my seatbelt on, waiting for everybody to board the plane. Considering I was near the end of the extremely long line, it didn't take long for everybody to get on the plane and find their seats.
I, unfortunately, had to sit in front of a little toddler. She was fast asleep now, but I didn't want to see what she was like when she was awake. Because, if the stories are true, it must be torture.
I pull my MacBook Pro out of the black carry on, while opening it. It slowly turned on, as I opened up my Twitter. As usual, I had many notifications. I didn't bother to check any, which I will do later.
I quickly followed about 60 people, while beginning to write a status.
@QueenAP: Finally on the plane! I'm gonna miss Australia, but can't wait to meet my favorite cousin!
I posted the status, while logging out of twitter and onto YouTube. I checked my most recent video, which was a simple Q&A. I got over 200000 views on it, while smiling. I read through many comments, a few making me chuckle.
I then checked my gaming channel, the most recent video having about 30000 views. The video was the 11th episode of my Minecraft series. I then checked my vlogging channel, while realizing I need to make a new vlog. Along with a new video on my main channel.
I ended up watching a few SkyDoesMinecraft videos, before turning my laptop off and shutting my eyes. Its nearly seven in the morning, I need some rest before I pass out.
