Mason Crawford's POV

------

I reached for my iPhone, which sat on the table beside me. I unlocked it, as the time read 9:30.

9:30pm

Alexis said she would be home by 9, which was half an hour ago. I mean, I know I'm just her older cousin/roommate. But considering I'm her only family here, I am somewhat responsible for her.

I decided to let it go. I mean, she's probably just a little late because it took her a bit longer to film. No big deal.

I logged onto Twitter, which I haven't been on in quite a few days. I'm not expecting any new followers, considering no one knows about the fact that Alexis lives with me.

As I scroll through my newsfeed, there was nothing but posts from a few friends. As I was about to turn my phone off to continue watching the film that was playing over the television screen, a certain tweet caught my eye.

@QueenAP: So happy I moved to London! Met my three new best friends here, @ZozeeBo @Joe_sugg @PointlessBlog! ;D

Attached to Alexis' post was a photo of her, and her three other YouTube friends. It was quite a nice photo, but then I caught a glimpse of Joe. I'm assuming that was his name.

It's not that I don't like him, because I've watched a few of his videos after my small conversation with Alexis the other day. He is absolutely hilarious, although a bit short. And he seems like a good, innocent guy.

But considering Alexis has never had an older boy figure - besides me - in her life, I had to step in. I know she's never been into many guys, but it's obvious that many guys fancy her. Including Joe.

The way he looks at her, pure admiration. He adores Alexis. Although I only saw him when Zoe and Alexis were filming, and when he came back to pick up his phone, in just that little amount of time, I could tell he had fallen for her.

I mean, we have an attractive family.

I know this most likely bothers not just myself, but Joe as well. They've literally known each other for a mere few days. But its not difficult to fancy someone.

The thing is, Joe does fancy her and I don't know how I feel about that. I'm not sure how he treats his girlfriend's. For all I know he could be a complete, abusive, sociopath.

I mean, I do believe that Alexis is responsible, but I know she hasn't been in a relationship for a few years. And, if it hasn't changed in the past two years, she's still a virgin. I do trust her, however.

I'm just not sure about how much I trust Joe.

I'm not going to act like the over protective older brother, because I'm not. And I really don't want Alexis to regret moving here. She is my absolute favorite cousin, and she never fails to make me laugh.

However, I can't help but feel just a bit over protective. Like any older brother would. And I know I'm not her older brother, but that doesn't mean I don't consider her my younger sister.

It's not that I don't like Joe, because he seems like a great guy. But I don't know how he acts behind the camera. I mean, I know Alexis does, but why would she tell me? She'd probably think I've gone insane.

The front door opening interrupted my train of thought. I looked up to see a drenched Alexis. "What happened to you?" I smirked, while letting out a small chuckle.

"Innuendo Bingo. That's what happened." she snickered, while throwing her keys and phone on the counter. "Well, I suggest you go dry up? Maybe we could watch a film or something?" I tell her while she nods.

I watch her make her way up the stairs and into her room. I unlock my phone once again, and place my thumb on Joe's Twitter account.

As I scrolled through his tweets, I caught one that he replied on. As I clicked on it, a photo of Joe and Alexis cuddling covered my screen. They were both fast asleep, however I couldn't help but feel a bit upset about the fact that she was cuddling with a boy she met a week ago.

I then read the comments, many many comments. There was quite a bit of hate, along with a few good comments. I know she never reads the hate comments because she knows they aren't true.

I read more of the comments, still not feeling very keen about Joe. It's not like I'm going to stop her from being friends with him, I would just prefer them to be nothing more.

I know her love life doesn't include me, or my opinion. That doesn't mean I'm just going to let her make wrong decisions. Because if it was me in this situation, I almost guarantee she wouldn't let me end up in a bad place.

I continued scrolling through the comments, until I heard Alexis walk down the stairs. I could also hear the familiar barking of the dogs.

"So, what film are we going to be watching tonight?" Alexis asks cheerfully, as she sits on the cushion beside me.

Okay so I know this chapter is abnormally short, but I literally had no idea what to write. I re-wrote it at least four times. I even asked for help from my friend, Mia. But please just be grateful I at least updated. I wasn't going to, but I did. Hopefully I will be able to update tomorrow though.

Byeeeee!
