Chapter 8

Erika's Pov
I wake up Immediately start thinking of last night and smile, then I quickly realized today is PROM! Omfg prom is today I get up and start jumping on the bed to wake Jake up.

E: JAKE! JAKE! WAKE UP IT'S PROM DAY.

J: Erika what is wrong with you *groans*

I stopped jumping and got on top of Jake and hugged him. And he hugged back. He picked me up and took me to the bathroom.

E: Jake no

J: this is what you get for asking me up.

He got in the shower both of us fully clothed and turned on the water.

E: nooo

J: *smiles*

E: I hate you

J: I've never heard of someone who hates their prom date.

E: well jokes on you I have a change of clothes you don't

J: shoot you got me there

E: how about we go outside and we will dry out there together

J: you're so nice. Let's go

We were walking outside fingers interlocked, and I realized that I never asked Jake what he wanted to do with his life. But before I got to ask him he asked me a question first.

J: Erika

E: yeah

J: where are all of the people

E: it's Friday meaning they are all walking to the neighborhood across the street to give us a break and terrorize someone else.

J: oh

E: but I do have a question for you

J: shoot

E: what do to want to do with your life.

J: I want to become a Navy Seal

I stopped in my tracks and then Jake stopped with a worried look.

J: what's wrong

E: I don't like that idea Jake

J: why

E: what if you get hurt

J: it'll be worth it

E: I don't want to lose you Jake

J: and you won't

E: you promise.

J: I promise

I hugged Jake really tight, at this moment I realized that i loved him but I couldn't tell him that we aren't even dating.

J: we should go back inside we are dry now.

E: yeah the neighbors will be back soon.

We went back to the apartment and talked for awhile but then we had to go get ready for prom but Jake dropped me off at Mackenzie's to get ready

Before I got out of the car I looked at Jake with a big smile on my face.

J: what

E: you're not going to stand me up or anything are you

J: of course not

E: *smiles*

I get out of the car and run over to Jake's side and open his door.

E: get out I want a proper hug
