Chapter 26

Jake's Pov
I was sitting in bed scrolling through Instagram when Sunny called my name from downstairs, I went downstairs to see Sunny pacing back and forth.

J: babe are you okay

S: I don't know yet

J: what do you mean you don't know yet? Are you sick? Are you pregnant? Did I get another girl pregnant?

S: no, no, and no

J: then what's wrong

S: I'm breaking up with you.

She let out a big sigh like she was relieved

J: 1.) Why and 2.) Why are you relieved

S: I sighed because I thought this was going to hurt way more, but since I know I'm doing the right thing it hurts less.

J: why is it the right thing to break up with me?

S: because you don't love me Jake

J: yes I do

S: Jake look me in the eye and tell me that you love me more than Erika..

I look her straight in the eyes and I tired to say it but I couldn't.

J: I...

S: Jake, you still love her, you always have, you thought you forgot about her but all along she was in the back of your head, you were waiting for her. I can't hold someone back from who they love.

J: Sunny...

S: I called Mackenzie, Erikas Flight hasn't left yet,, go get her.

J: Su-

Sunny started pushing me out of the door once I was outside she gave me the keys to the car. I turned my head to see she had already been moving her stuff out but I was too busy thinking about Erika to notice. I get in my car and rush to the airport...

I find Erika and scream her name.

J: ERIKA!!!

E:...

J: ERIKA!!!

She turns around and I run to her.

E: Jake what are you do-

I kissed her and she kissed back, I pulled her closer to me enclosing any space between us. We pulled away and Erika just looked at me, so I just hugged her.

J: I love you too

She pulled back with a shocked look spread across her face.

E: what?!

J: I said I love yo-

Erika cut me off by kissing me, then hugged me.

Intercom: gate to California will be closing in 2 minutes.

J: this is where you leave huh.

E: uh yeah

J: I'll visit and until then I'll miss you a lot

E: I'll miss you a lot too

J: I love you so much

E: I love you too

Erika was about to walk off when I grabbed her wrist and pulled her into a passionate kiss.

E: before I leave what are we?

(Btw she has time they are standing right outside the gate)

J: what do you wanna be

E: I want to call you mine
