Chapter 12

Jake's Pov
I wake up to Erika's mom yelling Erika. I open my eyes with fright of her mom possibly making us breakup or something. She has her arms crossed and a mad look on her face, while Morgan was beside her with her mouth hanging open.

AC: what is going on here Erika

E: Jake spent the night because I had a little incident and he didn't wanted to make sure it didn't happen again so he stayed over.

AC: what was the incident

Erika just looked down and grabbed my hand and I squeezed it letting her know it's okay.

E: just like when dad left

AC: Erika honey, what made you want to do this again

Erika's Pov
I just looked at Jake and hugged him and cried in his chest.

E: please don't be mad at him Mom

My mom looked at Jake like she wanted to kill him.

AC: what did he do

E: he broke up with me

AC: then why is he here

E: the reason he broke up with me was because some football player convinced him that I cheated on him so he broke up with me. So then I tried to end it all but they came to the house banging on the door until I opened it.

AC: listen Jake you clearly mean a lot to her, she didn't even try to do this when Neels cheated on her so, if you break her heart I break you understood

J: yes ma'am

Jake's eyes went wide and Morgan started laughing but then my mom gave us a confused look.

AC: but why is Erika shirtless

E: well me and Jake were on the bathroom floor talking when I told him that I was tired and we went to the bed and I didn't feel like putting pajamas on so I just took my shirt off and Jake is shirtless because he can't sleep with a shirt on.

AC: okay well, I just came to check in on you because we won't be coming home for awhile because the car is I the shop and I can't just keep walking from work to home everyday, but I'll call you every night I promise, but since today's incident I don't want you here alone so maybe stay at a friend's or bring one here and if it is Jake no funny business.

E: okay I love you

AC: I love you too

My mom left and I went to lay back down but Jake pulled me up.

E: nooo

J: yes we have school and practice also I have to handle something later after the game tonight.

E: fine, I stole some of your clothes from your house for the next time you spent the night.

J: well thank you Ms. Costell

E: you are very welcome Mr. Paul

We laughed and called M.A.C to pick us up. And we finally got to school.

M: you ready

E: becoming a cheerleader might not be that bad I mean Jake and I can see eachother more.

M: aww

E: also are you busy tonight

M: yeah I have a date with Anthony

E: No

M: yes

We both scream and Jake and Chanthony ran to us.
